casino slots vs blackjack

casino slots vs blackjack - win

Most amazing game. It must be a huge mistake.

I found a small casino resort about 3 hours away from me that offered a wild blackjack game. It's so good that they must of screwed up the odds on all levels of management. This is the game.
-Single deck with a 90% penetration. -Pay out 2:1 -Minimum $5 to $500 -Stand on soft 17 -Splits on any pair -Unlimited splits -Ace splits get one card only -You can double down on any 2 cards. -You can surrender. -Once you double down you have the option to surrender.
I have no idea who approved this in a casino. I know someone will be fired over this house edge. But I was able to play this game for two days while I was there. Needless to say I am already rushing back.
I stayed at this place for 2 nights. At first I thought the dealer was miss paying 2:1 instead of 3:2. But then I had been paid out for blackjack 2 or 3 times before the pit boss came over and watched the payouts. Then after a few minutes the casino swapped out dealers. I was still really confused because I have never seen an actual $5 single deck before. I has surrendered a couple hands before the new dealer. Once she got to the table I was dealt 5,6 vs deal 10. I doubled down and got an ace. The dealer then asked if I wanted to surrender. At this point I thought that all the dealers had no clue what they were doing. Again I have never seen a true $5 single deck with a 2:1 payout and now a double down surrender? It was kind of hard to hear the lady when I asked what she meant due to barriers and masks. At this point the pit boss was walking over to mark the two chairs the frat guys sat in to be cleaned due to COVID. He explained how normal casinos don't offer a surrender like that but most people don't use it because they are smart. I want sure if this was slight heat but I was more confused than anything. I played a few more hands and walked away. The only reason for walking away is that I wanted to stand back and see if the situation was right. I got my girlfriend, walked around, got dinner and walked back to the floor. We walked around and observed everyone flocking to the 6 deck games for $5. I sat down and kind of played dumb. I asked the table why everyone liked blackjack vs craps or roulette. After some answers I slowly slipped in asking "Why are those tables of blackjack so empty?" A dealer replied that "The only players that play that are usually throwing down high bets and drunk or are from out of town. Locals want to play a game that doesn't stop to shuffle every 5 minutes". I looked around and on a Tuesday night I could only see elderly people playing penny slots, college kids getting drunk and making really bad plays and bets, and obviously gambling addicts jumping from slots, to craps, to game to game. At this point my friend and I decided too leave upstairs and get some sleep. The next day we walked around the town. I called a friend who runs a casino business about the game. He told me to go back like I was going to and look over the rules again. Once the tables opened up I grabbed my girlfriend and gave her $100. She doesn't gamble at all and kind of knows the rules. I told her to not ask me anything but ask the dealer when she is confused on how to play so I could hear them explain it. She sat down at the table and I followed after sitting down across from her. This night I observed the same thing from 2 new dealers. But this time they gave weird advice on doubling because "I can feel it" on a players 16 vs the dealers 10 and things of the sort. Overall it still confuses me. This happened a week ago. Needless to say I put in to take time off of work to travel back comes up soon to hope it wasn't some weird alternate universe.

Would Like To Introduce Myself

Hi Everyone,
I would just like to introduce myself. Tell my story and explain why I'm here.
I got into bitcoin back in the day. I loved how easy it was to send and withdrawl from casino sites. They also had provably fair playing. The transaction fees were low. And wow, what a crazy ride. Bitcoin was around $200 then. I was losing and winning so much. One time I won 200btc in a slot machine and blackjack and video pokered it up to 500btc. It was over 100k USD. Part of it was on bitzino which is now shut down. Then I lost it all at bitzino in 25btc/hand blackjack. It all was so fast. Working nightshift made me crazy. I just loved clicking those buttons. Eventually I had to take an 8k loan from my 401k to cover the losses. I shut my coinbase account down.
Honestly that's why I do robinhood. I can't send the crypto to these awesome sites. I don't want to take that ride again. I still play on these sites with free money but the ride up and down in robinhood is fun enough and great and crypto goes up. But hearing how Robinhood had to get $1billion in funding makes me concerned.
I'll just be honest that i'm taking all my Doge profits and sticking it in GME as soon as I can. I'm really thankful for everytime elon tweeted about Doge. I'm thankful that all the interns over the summer at my company were obsessed with memes giving confidence in my DOGE investments. I think there's a great chance that elon is inspiring some meme loving great young leader to do something with it. I think Doge being and inflation coin is just ok ... it makes it more likely people will use it.
I also think ethereum is great with it's defi and exchanges which would be publicly managed compared to this fiasco with robinhood and clearinghouses and citadel. I think ethereum 2.0 is awesome. People literally just put 32 ethereum on a computer and make more ethereum while the price fluctuates. 2.0 just seems like a great ride you can take for a long time.
I think the bch community is great. The grasberg vs asertii drama was great. I'm pissed as fuck robinhood didn't give me any abc coin or even sell it for me.
Fuck bitcoin and there high fees and low blocksize.
I hope you guys post due diligence before pumping coins no one has heard of. I love due diligence and then memes. I hope you guys make so much money and buy boats and houses and cars and pay off student loans.
Regards,
Jimmerish

Curious About This Opinion on Addicts vs. Recreational Partner Use of Pornography

Hello All,
A few months back, when I was not active on Reddit, I put this on my blog and it's still one of the most read posts and I have people telling me I nailed it and people telling me I'm dead wrong. I'm curious what this community thinks:
Sometimes, I find myself babbling during a podcast and stumble into something that makes a lot of sense I’d never put into words before. It’s kind of the same process as therapy, which is why I urge people to see a therapist, even if they only think they are babbling for 49 minutes. That 50th minute may be where the magic happens. Likewise, if you can get people to invite you onto their podcast, they’ll ask you questions and you’ll be forced to explore the answers.
Anyway, I’ve been reflecting on something I said a while back on a podcast, and have begun discussing it with a few people because it’s nothing I’ve heard before, but it’s something that just seems to make sense to me and I’d be curious if it makes sense to you.
For partners (yes, generally women dealing with a man, so forgive me if I do the non-PC thing and sometimes assume this is the arrangement) of any kind of addict, the partner is not the reason the addict got into their addiction. With addictions like gambling or drugs, this is just generally a given. Wives usually don’t wonder what they did wrong that caused their husband to be a video game addict and husbands don’t wonder what they did wrong to make their wives food addicts. The boyfriend didn’t make his girlfriend and alcoholic and the girlfriend didn’t make her boyfriend a cokehead.
This dynamic is often ignored or overlooked when it comes to porn addiction. The partner of the addict, upon learning of the addiction, will often go through a process called betrayal trauma that can last days, months or years. Essentially, it is the pain and hurt of both knowing that your partner was “living a double life” coupled with the pain that their addiction involved sex/nudity/other people, which crosses a certain line of harmful intimacy/cheating/betrayal in the mind of the non-addict. Often, it destroys relationships.
Now, here’s the thing. Regardless of the betrayal trauma occurring, the porn addict is sick. We know that they have a brain disease that is likely a system of a much bigger issue, including unresolved childhood trauma or another mental health issue. I don’t want to be seen minimizing the betrayal trauma, but it is not my focus right this second.
I can tell you that based on my story and based on the story of many true sex/porn addicts that I know, have interviewed, have met, etc., the addiction is never about lust. Never. In my case, my addiction allowed me to subconsciously create a false sense of control. I didn’t realize this while in my addiction, but it’s crystal clear now after six-plus years of recovery. I wasn’t an addict for the naked girls or taboo feeling of getting away with something. It was serving a need I had since early childhood, when I had my sense of safety regarding control taken away.
I can also tell you I didn’t drink (I was an alcoholic as well) because it tasted good or I liked the social lubricant. I’d say 95% of my drinking was done alone, isolated, simply to numb my brain to the point I wasn’t thinking beyond the very surface.
Cocaine addicts don’t snort because it’s fun to watch white powder disappear. Video game addicts don’t sit in front of the TV or computer for 15 hours because they appreciate fine digital graphics. Food addicts don’t like cake that much more than you and I. All addicts have a brain disease happening. It’s not about the substance or behavior. It’s about the subconscious pleasure, safety or sense of wellbeing the addictive behavior or substance provides, and it becomes the priority in life.
I think it’s also important to mention that almost all addicts suffer a decreased sex drive and need for intimacy, except in those who are abusing stimulants like cocaine, or those who have just experienced a chemical-induced high. For the most part though, especially in males, there’s enough science to show that there is usually a slowing or shutting down of the libido. Ask a heroin addict how important sex and/or intimacy is to them.
So back to porn addiction. Why do female partners suffer from such betrayal trauma? I believe it has nothing to do with the addiction itself. I think the fact that there may be an addiction is often forgotten and lost in the betrayed person’s mind. They focus on the perceived intimacy/fantasy with another person that comes with their partner’s use of pornography. When the man embraces the fantasy, it usually ends with an orgasm – just as the act of intercourse does. If intercourse is supposed to be “sacred” and reserved for only the partner, it’s understandable why they are hurt.
In researching my second book, learning these women’s stories and reading many of them on online forums where they post and receive advice, it stuck out to me that while many of these women clearly had partners who had an addiction, others had partners who seemed to just have a basic relationship with pornography, and simply caught their partner looking and had no real evidence to reach a conclusion that he was an actual addict.
I’ve come to wonder how often this kind of betrayal trauma happens with the female partners of men who are not porn addicts, because I think these are the female partners who really have to worry.
We all know the person who can have the occasional beer or two, or the person who can play video games for an hour and then put it away for several days. I visit a casino two or three times a year with my wife, never lose more than $40 and always walk away if I’m lucky enough to win $100. I don’t bet on sports or play the lottery, so I’m not sure if I can even be called a recreational gambler, but let’s just say I am for the sake of this post.
Let’s say for whatever reason, my wife was 100% anti-casino and anti-gambling. Maybe her father gambled away her college fund or her mother lost the family house…whatever. If she were to ask me never to gamble again, I would not have a hard time walking away from it. I find it fun watching the reels of the slot machine spin, but it’s a moment I wouldn’t miss if it disappeared from my life.
Let’s say some friends ask me to meet them for steaks and blackjack this weekend at the casino. I have three choices as I see it: I can decide not to go because I want to follow my wife’s wishes, I can tell her that I got the offer and gauge her response then decide accordingly, or I can not to tell her and/or lie about it, and just go.
If I go without telling her, it doesn’t make me a gambling addict. I may want to see my friends, do something without her, have a steak…whatever. Let's also assume I continue to stay within my “lose $40/win $100” gambling rule I’ve set for myself. Let’s say that my friends make a plan to do this once a month. It may be my only chance to see some of them, I appreciate the camaraderie, whatever, but I decide to make it a regular thing. This also does not make me a gambling addict.
It makes me a serial liar. It makes me someone who puts my own wants above some very specific boundaries set by my partner. It reveals a self-centeredness that shows I’m probably not a very good partner. But it doesn’t make me a gambling addict.
Now let’s consider the guy who looks at pornography but is not an addict. I absolutely believe that most people who use pornography, both men and women, are looking for little more than visual stimulation to help them achieve an orgasm. It's just about getting off for most people.
I believe that these people (who, statistically, are the vast majority of society in the under-50 group of men and under 35 group of women) learned along the way that they can satisfy their sexual needs with a self-induced orgasm. Masturbation is a selfish thing, but nobody understands how to work your equipment better than you do.
Intimate lovemaking is a wonderful thing, but sometimes in the eyes of many, just having sex with somebody they barely know can be the release they need, even if there is no love or true intimacy involved. Again, not moralizing or judging, just recognizing a fact. Sex doesn't always come with love. And sometimes, despite the option that intimate lovemaking exists with a partner or there are "friends with benefits" out there, a person simply wants to experience the faster release of self-orgasm because they are not in the mood/too tired/whatever to invest what is necessary for mutually beneficial lovemaking/intercourse.
I do not believe that the non-porn addict becomes an addict when they opt for occasionally masturbating over having sex with their partner.
But, like with my gambling example, what if the female partner views pornography as a reprehensible thing? What if she views her partner’s masturbation as a slap in the face and rejection? She has every right to set those boundaries, but does his breaking them without her knowledge automatically mean that he’s an addict? Of course not. Does lying about it automatically make him an addict? Not at all.
Yes, addicts lie. So do husbands and boyfriends who are caught doing something they shouldn’t. Addiction and lying are horrible character traits, but they are not mutually exclusive. One involves a disease and the other is just about covering one’s tracks. Five-year-old kids lie. Politicians lie. Salespeople lie. That doesn’t make them addicts.
Here’s the most important distinction between the addict and the liar who uses pornography: One is mentally and physically programmed beyond their control, the other just likes to get off. Addiction is certainly nothing I’d wish on anybody or their partner having gone through it with porn and alcohol, but I wasn’t using just to get off. In truth, when my porn addiction was at its worst, there was no “grand finale” orgasm. I wasn’t using it for sexual gratification – I don’t think I ever was. Yes, frequency of intercourse with my wife slowed down, but I got a very different need met when I was with her vs. when I was utilizing pornography throughout the first 11 years of our marriage before my addiction came to light.
I believe the recreational user is getting the exact same need met when they look at porn and masturbate vs. when they have actual intercourse. Yes, there may be a fluctuation in the intimacy level, but I believe the recreational user choosing to use porn is simply looking for the orgasm and uses pornography as a visual aid.
The next question becomes is it better to be with a partner who has a disease of the brain that has nothing to do with you, or do you want to be with someone who has no pre-existing condition and is consciously choosing porn over you?
I’m not going to debate that human emotion is a tricky subject and that betrayal trauma shouldn’t register regardless of your answer to that question, but if I was in the situation of so many women who discover that their partner is looking at porn, I’d take some selfish comfort in knowing it was a disease and not a rejection of me.
Am I crazy here? Am I correct? Assuming I am anti-pornography, I would be more concerned about my role in my partner’s viewing of pornography if they were not an addict vs. if they are. Being an addict is an extenuating circumstance. Being a liar just means your partner is an asshole.

Day 4 In Recovery: My Rollercoaster Story of Gambling Addiction

Growing up I was never into sports or gambling at all. I used to be the type of person to go to the casino and throw 20 dollars on blackjack or throw 20 dollars on slots and look at it as “you’re going to lose this, but you might win something and if you don’t it’s only 20 dollars and you’re done.” The person I became within a very short time was a far cry from that conservative gambler I used to be.
I saw my friends who were very into sports and gambling start to bet on football on FanDuel and DraftKings Sportsbook and they would win money here and there, but I was dead against the idea. That is until the sportsbooks had a promotion for a risk free bet for 500 dollars. It was the Broncos vs Chiefs. Not knowing much about sports at the time, I knew the Chiefs were gonna absolutely crush the struggling Broncos and I took the Chiefs -8.5 at -110 odds. It was a risk free bet so I thought fuck it, I’ll get my money back if it loses. Well, it won. And the dopamine rush of winning that kind of money for just picking a selection had me hooked. It was better than weed, cocaine, alcohol, or any kind of substance I had experienced before.
Pretty soon I ballooned that almost 1000 bucks into 35 grand over the course of a couple months and I was over the moon. I have a good paying job, but I work a lot of hours and it’s very hard physical work. It’s very draining and I viewed sports betting as a way out and into an easier more prosperous lifestyle to break the cycle of my daily misery. But boy was I in for a surprise...
So then COVID-19 hit and I was forced to stop gambling due to there being no sports. I wish I had stopped for good because I would’ve still had that money, but you can’t turn back time as the saying goes. There was a 2-3 month period where I stopped gambling completely and I was really happy. I never had that much money sitting in my bank account before. I could go on any trip I wanted. I bought a sweet new-to-me Audi in cash. I was elated. But when sports came back things started going downhill...fast...
I got into betting Russian table tennis as stupid as it sounds. I laughed at the idea the books started offering it as a bet, but I got into it studying the lines on betsapi and sofascore thinking I could beat the lines like I did in American professional sports. I had what I thought to me was ‘unlimited bankroll’ so I’d bet 100 at a time on each table tennis match (which last no more than 30 minutes vs 2-4 hours for a pro sport). I was hooked. I’d wake up at 7:00am for work and there would be a full slate and I was betting almost every match possible. Sometimes I would make 3 grand in a day. Sometimes I’d be down 2 grand. It was a roller coaster, but this is where my addiction took a turn for the worst.
After getting addicted to table tennis for 2 month, real sports came back. I wanted to get back into the 500 and 1000 dollar parlays I was making, but I didn’t want to throw all that money up at once. So I would do 100 dollar table tennis bets first thing in the morning and try to get to those dollar amounts. This was my downfall. Chasing loss, after loss on what I thought were “sure fire bets” the money started disappearing rapidly. Soon enough I was broke. But that wasn’t good enough. I have good credit so I went and took out a 7000 dollar loan to get back on my feet.
I promised myself I wouldn’t gamble that 7000, but what did I do? Follow the same path I promised myself I wouldn’t go down. I even won a parlay for 13000, another for 7000, one for 8300, and many for 3-4000. I’m writing you today to tell you still have that 7000 debt and not a single dollar to my name. The last 3 paychecks I’ve gotten have all gone to gambling. Every. Single. Dollar. Within 2 days of getting paid. It’s an absolute ruthless addiction that will take everything from you.
How did I stop? I forced myself to cut access from my money. My bank card held all the power to allow myself to drain my accounts to chase money that I’ll never get back so easily. I’ve come to accept I have to work for what I have even though it’s so hard. Gambling is easy. The consequences are hard. I came clean to my dad and he’s taking over my finances for quite some time. I’m fortunate that it’s only 7k in the hole and I’ve stopped the bleeding now, but not a day goes by I don’t think about that 35k in my bank account. My dad told me something that stuck with me and I think it’s the thing that’s gonna keep me away forever
“Son, that money was never yours. No matter how much you win, you’ll give it all back”
Thank you for listening to my story and I wish all of you struggling the best. You’re not alone. You can beat this. You just have to want it.

If you find a slot that features an exciting theme and matches your bankroll criteria, you can add it to your favorite games and therefore find it in the “Favourites” section later.
Don't miss all-time favorites such as Achilles, Naughty or Nice, Bubble Bubble, Texas Tycoon, Triple Twister, Paydirt, Regal Riches, Aztec Treasure, Golden Lotus, Hen House, Spirit of the Inca, Pirate Isle, Orc vs. Elf, the ancient Rome-themed, Caesars Empire, etc.
Some of the slots have the so-called Win-Win feature that basically eliminates the chance of leaving the game empty-handed.

Specialty

You will find a select few games in the Specialty section, such as Craps, Treasure Tree, American and European Roulette.

Table

The Table Games section is a bit more abundant than the Specialty one although players are still provided with a limited choice of games as compared to what some other casinos offer. If you are looking for several game variations of each table game, you might want to check out some other online casinos.
However, if safety matters to you and you consider the casino's available games enough to possibly win a bit and enjoy yourself, you are more than welcome to place your real-money wager and indulge in Pontoon, Baccarat, Pai Gow, Match Up, Perfect Pairs, Classic Blackjack, European Blackjack, Super 21, Face Up, Three Card Rummy and a popular option believed to have originated on the island of Aruba, Caribbean Stud Poker.

Video Poker

While some other casinos focus on delivering an extensive range of slots or table games, it appears that this operator has mainly concentrated on video poker, as you will find a large selection of variations in Instant Play mode.
Apart from the traditional Jacks or Better, Aces & Eights, Joker Poker, Deuces Wild, you will also find an extremely popular option, Double Double Bonus Poker, along with Double Double Jackpot Poker, Loose Deuces, All American Poker. All video poker variations can be played in a range of denominations.

Supported Devices

If you want to have access to your favorite games from any location, you don't have to download and install an app; you only need load the website via your mobile browser. The games are compatible with iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry devices. Although you will be able to see the game variety in its entirety, you might not be able to load all the games you see.
Players can rely on superb graphics, fast deposits and withdrawals and efficient customer support as well. In addition, mobile users are entitled to receive certain bonuses and collect Comp Points, explained in the next section.

Jackpot Capital Casino Bonuses and Promotions

You'll be hard-pressed to find a more generous online casino than this one. The wagering requirements are not impossible to meet and the bonuses themselves are really appealing. In order to keep players entertained, the casino frequently changes the active promotions. Make sure you log into your account on a regular basis, to find out the casino's current promotions.
The casino regularly offers a Welcome Bonus, and typically more than one.
You can also take advantage of the latest “My Coupons” functionality that gives you the chance to prolong your gambling session. You have to regularly check what kind of coupons you are eligible for and redeem them within the set deadline.
Loyal players are awarded even more generous bonuses. Every time you place a wager, you accumulate comp points, no matter if you win or lose.
If you play your favorite games via a mobile device, you can qualify for a mobile bonus. Again, be sure to check with the casino to determine any specific qualifiers or wagering requirements.
In order to be allowed to cash out a bonus, you will most likely have to meet a rollover requirement. Some games do not count towards fulfilling the wagering requirement, though.

Grande Vegas Casino Review

If you have ever been to Vegas, you know that it is one city where the party never has to stop. That seems to be the case at Grande Vegas as well, an online casino site where there is always another promotion happening just around the corner, from your first deposit to weekly reload bonuses. It’s also a site that features some of the Internet’s best slot machines, making it worth a look if you love playing slots.

Grande Vegas Casino Slots

Grande Vegas Casino hosts games created by Realtime Gaming, meaning that there are hundreds of slots for you to choose from in their casino. These include some progressive jackpots worth more than $1 million, which can be won on games like these:
  • Aztec’s Millions
  • Jackpot Pinatas
  • Megasaur
  • Shopping Spree
Along with those great jackpot slots is a wide selection of machines that offer a variety of themes and play styles to suit your personal preferences. Grande Vegas Casino Promotions

Grande Vegas offers players a ton of promotions, ranging from weekly bonuses and cash back rewards to free giveaways. But it all starts with a welcome offer that gives players a 100% bonus of up to $100. There are a litany of other bonuses too, all in the $100 to $200 range, and there is always something available soon, meaning you will rarely have to wait at all to get another bonus if you want one – and the next offer is never more than a couple days away.
In order to clear any of these bonuses, you’ll need to complete a wagering requirement of 30 times the total of your deposit and bonus (this increases to 60x for any no deposit bonuses you might receive). The maximum bet while clearing a bonus is $10, and the only games that can be played while using bonus funds are slots, scratch cards, Bonus Bingo and European Slot Poker. Playing any other games could void your bonus, so stay away from them until after your bonus is cleared.

Other Games at Grande Vegas

If your interests extend beyond slots, then you’ll be happy to know that Grande Vegas features an extensive selection of casino table games and other casino standards. In fact, if there’s a game you enjoy, it is almost certain that you’ll find it here.
Let’s start with table games, where Grande Vegas has just about everything you’d find in a live casino, including games like:
  • Roulette (American and European)
  • Craps
  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack
  • Three Card Poker
  • Let It Ride
  • Caribbean Stud Poker
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Casino War
There’s also no shortage of video poker machines. Whether you want to play in single hand or multihand mode, you can try your luck at the following varieties:
  • Jacks or Better
  • Deuces Wild
  • Aces and Eights
  • Double Bonus Poker
  • Joker Poker
  • Loose Deuces
  • Mystery Bonus Poker
One particularly exciting offering you’ll find here is the selection of live dealer games. Each of these games is played over a live video stream, and features a real dealer using real casino equipment to determine the results. If this sounds interesting, you might want to give these live dealer games a look:
  • Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • American Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • Casino Hold’em

Grande Vegas Casino Deposits and Withdrawals

  • Wire Transfer
  • Direct Money
  • PaySafeCard
  • Money Transfer

Grande Vegas Casino Software and Reputation

If you’re playing on your computer, you can access Grande Vegas Casino through a downloadable casino client that you can install in Windows. You also have the option of using a web-based no download casino that can be accessed right in your Internet browser. If you like to play on a phone or tablet, there is also a fully mobile-optimized version of the casino, which is fully functional: you can not only play but also deposit and withdraw funds through the mobile site.
Grande Vegas Casino has been operating since 2009 without any major incidents, allowing the site to build a strong reputation for reliability. When there have been issues, players largely report that they were resolved quickly and fairly within the bounds of the site’s terms and conditions.

The Final Verdict

If you’re looking for a wide variety of games, either slots or in terms of general casino offerings, then you should be happy with Grande Vegas Casino. It’s hard to match the sheer number of slots available here, and when you combine that with the big jackpots and the quality of the games, this site is a winner for any slots fan.
The one caveat to our recommendation would be that this is not a site for those who want huge bonus offers, as each individual bonus here is fairly small. But the huge number of bonuses available will make up for that for most players, and the overall package is strong enough to make Grande Vegas a highly recommended online casino.

Bonus Offers & Free Bets

There are too many promotions advertised on b-Bets to go through all of them in detail, so we will focus on the available welcome bonus offers for both the b-Bets Sportsbook and the b-Bets Casino, which are available to you after your first b-Bets login.
The b-Bets Sportsbook welcome bonus offers you a 100% match bonus on your initial deposit up to €100. The wagering requirements are 8x the bonus and deposit amount – meaning if you take full advantage of the Sportsbook offer, you will have to wager €1600 before you can withdraw the full amount of your bonus. Bets made on odds lower than 1.8 will not count towards the wagering requirement, and each bet must be placed on an event with three or more potential outcomes.
The b-Bets Casino welcome bonus offers you a 100% match bonus on your initial deposit up to €250 plus 100 free spins on the Fruit Spin slot game. You will receive 20 free spins each day for 5 days; the minimum deposit for this promotion is €20. Your deposit plus the bonus amount are subject to a wagering requirement of 30x for this promotion. The pay-out is limited to 10x the bonus amount.
The wagering requirements must be fulfilled within 30 days; however, both promotions actually have a buy-out option. This means you can request a payout after fulfilling as little as 20% of the wagering requirements. For example, if your deposit and bonus came to $200 and you have now fulfilled 80% of the wagering requirement, gaining a balance of €1000 in the process, you can cash out €800 (80%), while the remaining wagering requirement is bought off.
Overall these bonus offers are above-average. They may be lower in value than the majority of offers on the market – some can earn you thousands in bonus money – but being able to request a payout without completing the entire wagering requirement is a great benefit. Also, the wagering requirements for the Sportsbook promotion are especially generous, as they are usually much higher. Read our Betway review for an example of this: the operator offers a 100% match bonus on your initial deposit up to €250, but the wagering requirements are 50x.

Usability, Look & Feel

Our b-Bets reviews found the desktop website design to be simple to use, even if it’s not quite the most aesthetically pleasing you’ll find. The sports section in particular is a little outdated, but there is no doubt that it is very easy to find what you’re looking for. All of the b-Bets betting markets are listed on the left, while there are icons for the most popular sports across the top; and as football is the main focus, the ‘Match of the Day’ is advertised at the top left. You can also switch between decimal, fractional and American odds on the left if you scroll down.
The b-Bets Casino has a more modern look, though it is actually split into two, with a separate ‘Slots’ section. The slot games are divided into categories such as ‘New’, ‘Popular’ and ‘Jackpots’. Under the ‘Casino’ heading, you will find ‘Poker’, ‘Baccarat’, ‘Roulette’, ‘Blackjack’, ‘Video Poker’,‘Scratch Cards’ and ‘Other Games’.
When it comes to b-Bets mobile, there is currently a b-Bets app available, but only for Android. If you don’t have a compatible device, you can simply access the site via the web page in your browser. The b-Bets mobile site has the same theme and most of the same features as its desktop counterpart. That being said, these b-Bets reviews consider the lack of a dedicated b-Bets app for iOS devices to be a problem that is hopefully resolved in the near future.

Payments

These b-Bets reviews can confirm that there are a large number of payment options available. The b-Bets deposit methods include Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, Sofort, Zimpler, ecoPayz, Trustly, PaySafeCard, iDebit and more. The minimum b-Bets deposit is €20; transactions are processed instantly and there are no fees. b-Bets converts all currencies into Euros at an exchange rate of the site’s choosing.
Many of the deposit options are also accepted when it comes to withdrawing your funds – just bear in mind that you have to use the same payment method for deposits and withdrawals unless you get in contact with customer service. The b-Bets withdrawal times for cards and eWallets take up to 48 hours, while bank transfers have a b-Bets withdrawal time of 3-5 business days. Minimum withdrawal limits are €20; there are no withdrawal fees.
b-Bets have very low maximum withdrawal limits or €1000 per week and €2500 per month. There is also a frustratingly restrictive maximum daily net win limit of €25,000. If you feel that these withdrawal limits are just a little too low but would otherwise choose to play at b-Bets, check our 24Bettle review, as this sister site to b-Bets is very similar but instead has a maximum monthly withdrawal limit of €5000.
>> Claim Free Bonus Money Now <<

Customer Service

It is our suggestion in these b-Bets reviews that you should always take a look at a website’s FAQ page before contacting their customer support. b-Bets has a very extensive FAQ section that is divided into 8 designated parts depending on what problem you are having.
If you are unable to find the answer you’re looking for on the site’s FAQ page, or if you’d simply prefer to speak to a trained representative, there are two customer support options available to you: a b-Bets live chat function and an email address. Unfortunately the b-Bets live chat is only available between the hours of 15:30 and 03:30 IST, but you will receive prompt responses within these times. You can expect a reply via email within 24 hours.
The lack of phone support is increasingly common for online gaming websites these days, though we consider it a negative aspect as nothing quite compares to the personal touch of being able to hear the voice of the representative assisting you.
You can also get in contact with b-Bets through their social media accounts, specifically Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

License & Security

And now in our b-Bets reviews, we will answer the question that everyone should ask themselves before trusting an online gaming site that they haven’t used before, especially as putting your faith in the wrong operator has proved countless times before to be a huge waste of time, effort, and hard-earned money. This question is of course ‘Is b-Bets legit or is b-Bets rigged?’
b-Bets, which launched in 2014 and is owned by Condor Malta Limited, is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority. An online gaming site that holds such a license is usually believed to be beyond reproach, with little to no risk of any b-Bets scam or b-Bets fraud taking place. This is because the Malta Gaming Authority is renowned worldwide as one of the ‘Big 4’ (along with the UK, Alderney and Gibraltar) when it comes to regulatory rules and licensing standards. Furthermore, b-Bets uses SSL data encryption and a Random Number Generator (RNG); plus the site is registered with Malta’s Data Protection Commissioner.
However, the maximum daily net win limit mentioned earlier is a problem. Any win limit is considered to be extremely unfair to players, because in the event that you win more you will not receive any money exceeding the limit. There are also a few unreasonable restrictions in the Condor Malta Group’s terms and conditions that have been highlighted – particularly a clause that states ‘No withdrawals shall be accepted from the accounts if a period of three months has elapsed from when the last successful deposit was made. In such cases, a new minimum deposit will be required.’ Though not necessarily a b-Bets fraud or b-Bets scam, these b-Bets reviews regard forcing customers to ‘play to get paid’ as entirely unacceptable as a practice.
Taking everything into account, these b-Bets reviews conclude that a b-Bets scam or b-Bets fraud is unlikely, though if you are a high-stakes player expecting close to or over the maximum daily net win limit, we suggest you look elsewhere.
>> Claim Free Bonus Money Now <<

Rewards & Loyalty Program

b-Bets doesn’t have the standard rewards or loyalty program you may have come to expect if you already have some experience betting online; instead, the site has its unique ‘BidBets’ auction system.
Basically, as soon as you claim your b-Bets welcome bonus you receive BidBet credits, which can be used to bid on a series of bonuses. These bonuses include deposit offers, free bets, cash back, free spins, more BidBets and money, to name a few.
Further BidBets are acquired by making wagers on both the site’s Sportsbook and Casino products. At the Casino, you earn 1 BidBet credit for every €20 you play on any slot game. You can also earn BidBet credits by playing table games or live casino games, but these have a lower ratio. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a record of the exact ratio for these games, even though the website claims that they are stated on the Casino bonus terms page.
There are constantly new items in the auction house that you can use your BidBets on, just check the ‘Trending Auctions’ drop-down menu at the top right of each page.

b-Bets Sports Betting

Betting Markets

There are fewer than 30 b-Bets betting markets available, which isn’t the greatest variety when compared to close competitors in the industry.
As well as some of the most popular sports in the world like football, baseball, basketball, boxing, cricket, darts, golf, ice hockey, MMA, motorsports, rugby, tennis and American football, there are also less common sports such as badminton, biathlon, cycling, futsal, Gaelic football, Gaelic hurling, pesapallo, snooker and volleyball. You can also place bets on UK and US politics. eSports options include DOTA 2, League of Legends, Overwatch, Rainbow Six and a few others. Unfortunately, there are no b-Bets betting options available for horse racing.

Odds

While compiling these b-Bets reviews, we performed an odds comparison between this online Sportsbook and that of competitor Royal Panda, using the full-time result of the upcoming FA Cup final match, Arsenal vs. Chelsea. Here’s a breakdown:
  • Arsenal to win: b-Bets = 3.35; Royal Panda = 3.40
  • Draw: b-Bets = 3.50; Royal Panda = 3.57
  • Chelsea to win: b-Bets = 2.19; Royal Panda = 2.18
Although it’s a very close call, you can see that the b-Bets betting odds aren’t quite as good as those of Royal Panda. Regardless, these odds aren’t far from the industry leaders in the sports betting market, proving that the b-Bets betting odds are very competitive. For more details on the competitor, have a look at our Royal Panda review.
>> Claim Free Bonus Money Now <<

Live Betting & Streaming

There is a moderate live betting section on the b-Bets website. The main live betting markets are football, baseball, basketball, ice hockey, table tennis and eSports.
The benefits to the b-Bets live betting section include a multichoice layout and a b-Bets betting calendar, which is ideal if you’re looking to plan for future games. However, there is a huge downside in the fact that there is no live streaming available; instead, there is a ‘Match Live’ section on the right of the page where you can view a graphical representation of the action combined with in-play statistics.

Limits

As previously mentioned in these b-Bets reviews, there is a €25,000 maximum daily net win limit on all wagers.

Product Summary & Conclusion

The b-Bets Sportsbook isn’t exactly the best when compared to its closest competitors: the selection of betting markets and bet types is below-average; the maximum daily net win limit and withdrawal limits are major weaknesses, especially to big-money bettors; and there is no live streaming. The biggest upside is the competitive odds, and when combined with the useful sports betting promotions with relatively low wagering requirements, you should be able to find some use in the b-Bets Sportsbook.

Skill-Based Slot Machines: What Are They and How They Work?

For decades, spinning the reels of slot machines - whether at land-based or online casinos - has been reduced to pure luck and, apparently, no skill whatsoever. Players have been at RNG's mercy to either win or lose, which for most was both exciting and somewhat rewarding.
However, new generations have started changing the face of gambling, slots in particular. Moving away from luck as a deciding factor of their wins, these generations have started asking for games that put their skills, reasoning, and capacities to test while still being fun – and that's how skill-based slots arouse.

What Are Skill-Based Slots?

Skill based slot machines are the newer breed of slots designed for everyone who would rather trust their skill over their luck, while still having fun - at least that’s how they are advertised.
The outcome of skill-based slots should be based on the player's ability to play the game rather than how lucky they are. Skill slot machines also allow operators, game developers, and suppliers to design variable payback based on a comprehensive variety of identifiers.

The outcome of skill-based slots should be based on the player's ability to play the game rather than how lucky they are.

While regular slots' winnings involve a lot of player's luck and hardly any skill, skill slots are supposed to be predominantly skill, factor-wise. With skill-based slots, players start the game knowing that they will have a material effect on the outcome, i.e. how much money they can win, with better players getting rewarded with higher payback.
Essentially, in answering what are skill machines, it is safe to say that they are games which resemble video poker or blackjack, as they give the player a chance to boost their profits solely with skill.

How Does a Skill-Based Slot Machine Work?

In comparison with how regular slot machines work, it is kind of difficult to give a definite observation on the matter as, basically, they operate the same way.
Unlike regular slot machines, casino skill games feature bonus rounds that require skill to win. Also, some of these games don't necessarily require playing the skill-based round; instead, they offer the option of choosing between free spins and an interactive bonus.

How Slot Machine Skill Games Work?

Say you are playing a slot with a racing theme; this is how you would go about it:
Skill based slot machines particularly stand out due to their unique bonuses.

What is the Difference Between Regular and Skill Based Slots?

Skill based video games, i.e. skill-based slots, are different from regular slot machines because they feature bonus rounds which include a high degree of skill. While the base mechanisms are the same for both, skill-based slots require some skill if the player is looking to score.

While the base mechanisms are the same for both, skill-based slots require some skill if the player is looking to score.
Regular slot machines work in a way that the player places a bet and spins the reels; then, the RNG (random number generator) delivers a combination, showing the results on the reels. Essentially, it is the RNG that determines the spin's fate. With traditional slots, players have almost no say in the outcome – they only decide the amount they'll bet and when they'll start/stop playing.

How Much is Actually Skill and How Much Pure Luck?

When we speak of skill-based gaming, it's safe to say that both are included, with the difference that, unlike traditional slots, skill-based slots do include competence.

What is the Difference Between Arcade Slot Machines and Skill Based Slots?

The younger generations don't remember it – but arcade games were the thing in gaming. New-age developers have decided to use the old trend, revamp it, and make it the basis of the majority of skill-based slot machines. The reason for this is, predominantly, millennial preferences. Millennials are not interested in luck deciding the course of their actions but are known to believe their own competence and rely on it.
As skill-based slots haven't exactly grown in popularity in the past years, bonuses based on arcade games could be the best way to test if skill based gaming will become the new "it" of slots gambling.

Can You Make Money Playing Skill Based Slot Games?

Skill-based slots don't come with guaranteed profits despite the fact that your skills can result in earning more money. Why? When it comes to this type of games, the truth is - you won't raise RTP enough to guarantee winnings even if you're an expert at the bonus round. While players are given the option to include their skill in the whole concept of playing, these games are still programmed to give the house advantage over a player.

The Case of PA Skill Machines (Pennsylvania Skill Machines)

Pennsylvania Skill machines are the games you see at convenience stores, at bowling alleys, local pubs, and virtually all other fun-games-and-entertainment places. These games are allowed for 18-year-olds, while casino slot machines are strictly for those who are 21 years old, or older.
Pennsylvania skill games are produced by Pace-O-Matic (POM or Pace O Matic), distributed by Williamsport, PA, -based-Miele Manufacturing.
There are several games on offer:
If a player plays the Pace-O-Matic game successfully, they win a total of 105% of the original amount spent to play.
Throughout the years, there have been talks whether the machines developed under the name "Pennsylvania Skill" should be considered regular slot machines or games of skill specifically. In the most recent ruling, it was announced that "video game machines manufactured and distributed by the POM under the name "Pennsylvania Skill" are considered slot machines under Pennsylvania law. However, Judge Patricia McCullough did not state that POM was in violation of the Gaming Act."

Currently, Pennsylvanian skill machines are considered legal.
But where does that leave things? Are Pennsylvania skill machines legal? Currently, they are considered legal. However, some people argue that the skill aspect is an illusion designed with the idea of floating Pennsylvania gambling laws. The same people, additionally, claim that a player can get lucky on both a regular slot machine and a skill-based one, and win – but that it would be luck in both cases, though.

Are Skill Slots the Future of the Slot Machine Industry?

Discussing whether skill slots are the future of the slot machine industry has to come with a degree of uncertainty as there are still plenty of unregulated and undefined things in this domain. While skill-based gaming sounds like a great idea on paper, the reality is different. Yes, skill-based slots give players the ability to decide their own gambling luck (in a way), but - skill alone doesn't always translate into success.

Skill-based slots give players the ability to decide their own gambling luck (in a way), but - skill alone doesn't always translate into success.
The optimum is that, based on how things are now, the future of slots looks close to placing an emphasis on social gaming (e.g. Angry Birds, Candy Crush, and Plants vs. Zombies, etc.) and console/computer games. Still, all further changes and upgrades remain to be seen.

Conclusion

Skill-based slots are a mixed bag of elements different to standard slots, but also a somewhat deceiving game as it sounds like it's giving players more power of the outcome than it actually does. Players are potentially able to influence 5% of the RTP through their abilities, but that is pretty much it. Skill slots differ from casino terminals in a way that they include some skill, the accent on "some". Skill slot machines don't actually give players a true chance to overcome the house edge, but that doesn't mean you can't have all the fun in the world just playing!

Spin Casino Basic Information

Spin Casino has a license with the Malta Gaming Authority and Kahnawake Gaming Commission. They’re licensed under the names Bayton Ltd and Baytree Ltd.
Bayton Ltd and Baytree Ltd are both managed by The Palace Group. There’s a good chance that you’ve heard of The Palace Group, or at least heard of or played at one of their brands. Some of the other brands they operate include Spin Palace, Ruby Fortune, and Mummy’s Gold.
The Palace Group has been in business a long time, too — since 2001. This means that they’re getting close to their 20th anniversary online, which is light years compared to other casinos.
Between their time in business and their gaming licenses, you can feel comfortable playing at any of their brands. This includes Spin Casino.

The Casino

In the following sections, we’re going to look at Spin Casino’s games. That way, you can get an idea of the games they offer so that you can decide if they’ll be a good fit for you.
Unlike most casinos nowadays, Spin Casino uses only Microgaming software for its animated casino games. There’s nothing wrong with this. It’s just that you won’t have the game or graphics variety that you will have at casinos that work with multiple software providers.
Trust us, though; this casino is plenty good enough. Spin Casino offers a little bit of everything here including slots, video poker, and table games.
They have a live dealer casino, too. Their live games come from Evolution and Ezugi, who are heavy hitters in the live gaming space. The result is a robust selection of live games. We’ll look at these later.
The one confusing aspect of their casino is that there are three sections — a casino, live casino, and Vegas (casino). We’re going to list some of their games below, but we’re only going to make a distinction between their animated and live dealer games.
We also noticed that their Vegas casino section doesn’t have any filters. You can’t select the type of games (slots, table games, video poker, etc.) that you want to see. This can make it tough to find the type of game you’re looking for unless you already know what it’s called.
The good news is that most, if not all, of their Vegas games, are also available in their main casino. This means there’s a chance you won’t need to visit the Vegas section at all.
Anyway, that covers the basics. Let’s now jump into each section and look at some specific examples of casino games you can play at Spin Casino.

Table Games

We’re going to start with Spin Casino’s table games. The following is a list of card and poker games that we found during our review.
  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Roulette
  • 3 Card Poker
  • Card Climber
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Craps
  • Double Exposure Blackjack
  • European Blackjack
  • European Roulette
  • Flip Card
  • High-Speed Poker
  • Hold’em High
  • Vegas Downtown Blackjack
  • Multi Wheel Roulette
  • Red Dog
  • Super Fun 21
  • Vegas Strip Blackjack
  • Spanish Blackjack
  • Triple Pocket Hold’em Poker
  • Cyberstud
  • And more!
There are both pluses and minuses to Spin Casino’s table game section. We’ll start with the downsides.
The most frustrating thing about their table games is that there’s no way to filter for specific games in the Vegas section. This can make it incredibly tough to find the games you want to play unless you already know what they’re called.
Another thing we were sort of unimpressed with is the lack of non-blackjack and roulette games. There are not enough games to offset all the blackjack and roulette options.
However, that brings us to one of the good things about their table game selection. They have lots of blackjack and roulette games.
In fact, you’ll find more than 30 blackjack games and more than 10 roulette games. Some of these are merely high-stakes variants or duplicate titles with improved graphics. Even discounting those, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better selection elsewhere.
Another thing we’re fans of is some of the unique games that you’ll find at Spin Casino that aren’t readily available elsewhere. For example, we can’t think of another casino that offers Triple Pocket Hold’em, Hold’em High, or Card Climber.
That’s always a good thing.
Table Game Testing, Graphics, and Stakes
Once we were done browsing their games, we opened a few of them up to make sure they worked well and to see what their graphics and stakes are like.
The graphics for the games we tested are pretty good. They’re not glossy, overly polished, or even realistic. They look more like animated games. There’s nothing wrong with that, though.
They don’t make it clear the stakes you can play for. We had to manually decrease and increase our bets to figure out the limits. The stakes we found varied from $2/hand or round to as much as $1,000. But keep in mind that this may vary depending on the game you play.
These aren’t bad limits — they’re higher than what many casinos offer. No t only that, but we also anticipated their live dealer casino offering even higher stakes. This means that we’re less concerned about how high the stakes are in this section of their casino.
We’ll look at their live dealer section in a few minutes.

Video Poker

The next section we checked out was Spin Casino’s video poker games. Here are the games we found during our review.
  • Aces & Eights Poker
  • Aces and Faces
  • All Aces Poker
  • Deuces Wild Poker
  • Deuces Wild Bonus Poker
  • Double Double Bonus Poker
  • Jacks or Better Poker
  • All American
  • Bonus Poker
  • Deuces & Joker Poker
  • Joker Poker
  • Louisiana Double Poker
  • Tens or Better Poker
This is an okay selection. On top of this, you’ll find “power,” “multi-hand,” and “Gold Series” variants that you can also choose from. We counted nearly 25 poker games in their main casino.
There are video poker machines in the Vegas section too, but we didn’t find anything different than what’s listed above.
Testing Their Games, Graphics, and Stakes
We tested a couple of their poker games during our review.
The games we played had average graphics, but that’s to be expected with video poker machines. They’re not meant to be fancy. They worked great, though. We experienced no lagging or bugs.
Some of them had neat features, too. For example, the machines we played offered the chance to double your winnings. When you make a winning hand, you can click the “double” button to play a mini-game to see if you can double up. Keep in mind that if you lose this game, you lose everything.
The best feature, though, had to be the automatic hold. Many video poker machines will tell you when you made a winning hand so that you don’t forget to hold those cards. However, one of the machines we played automatically held the best cards according to the common video poker strategy.
Now, we don’t know what strategy these machines are using or how optimal that strategy is. However, they did hold the cards we would have had this feature not existed. This is a neat option if you’re new to video poker and aren’t sure how to play optimally.
As far as stakes go, we found machines that let us play for as little as $0.25 per coin to as much as $50 per round. We recommend you bet the max number of coins, though, which means your minimum bet will be $1.25. This will vary from machine to machine, though.
Overall, we liked Spin Casino’s video poker section. We’d like to see more unique titles to choose from, but our opinion is that this lineup will work for most people reading this.

Slots

Next up is Spin Casino’s slot selection. They have far too many slot machines to list here, but here is a small sample to give you an idea of what you’ll be able to play.
  • 5 Reel Drive
  • Snow & Sable
  • Amazing Aztecs
  • Book of Oz
  • Cashville
  • Cash of Kingdoms
  • Diamond Empire
  • Dolphin Coast
  • Fruit vs Candy
  • Halloween
  • Girls with Guns
  • Game of Thrones
  • Highlander
  • Jurassic World
  • Lady in Red
  • Kings of Cash
  • Hitman
  • Lost Vegas
  • Lucky Koi
  • Oink Country Love
  • Pretty Kitty
  • Moby Dick
  • Monster Wheels
  • Robin of Sherwood
  • Silver Fang
  • So Much Sushi
  • The Great Albini
  • The Phantom of the Opera
  • Tomb Raider
  • Win Sum Dim Sum
  • Fat Lady Sings
  • Jekyll & Hyde
  • Jurassic Park
  • The Legend of Olympus
  • Throne of Egypt
  • Steam Punk Heroes
  • Winning Wizards
  • Untamed Bengal Tiger
  • Old King Cole
  • And more!
You’ll find all these slots in the main casino. There are plenty more where this comes from too. You’ll also find more slots — including unique titles not found in the main casino — inside the Vegas section.
That said, their selection of slots is much smaller than we expected considering that they work with Microgaming. We still can’t complain, though, especially after seeing some of the titles that you can play here.
For example, the slots that stood out to us are the licensed/branded slots. Licensed slots are machines that revolve around IP that other companies own. This includes movies (Jurassic Park), video games (Hitman), TV shows (Game of Thrones), and more.
These are fun to play because it’s highly likely that you’re going to be a fan of whatever the slot machine is about. For example, we like Jurassic Park. This means we get to kill two birds with one stone — play slots about a theme we really like.
Not only that, but you can play many of these slot machines in brick-and-mortar casinos. We’ve played Game of Thrones countless times during our trips to Las Vegas.
And this is just the licensed slots. You still have all the other slots that Spin Casino has to offer. This includes slots with bonus rounds, 3 and 5 reels, progressive jackpots, and features such as free spins, wilds, scatters, and more.
As for stakes, they vary so much that it’s hard to give concrete numbers. That said, we found machines that allowed us to play for as little as $0.10/spin to as much as $200. Most of the machines we looked at maxed out at $30 or less, though. This means that you might have to do some digging to find the machines with higher limits.
Overall, while Spin Casino’s slot section can definitely be bigger given that they’re powered by Microgaming, what they do have will be more than enough for most people.

Live Dealer Games

Last up is Spin Casino’s live dealer section. Here are the games we found during our review.
  • Dragon Tiger
  • Private Blackjack
  • Shangri La Roulette
  • Dream Catcher
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Baccarat
  • Football Studio
  • Roulette
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em
  • Lightning Roulette
  • Infinite Blackjack
  • Baccarat Super 6
  • Evolution Party Table
This is a solid selection of live games, especially when compared to other online casinos. But that’s not a surprise since some of these games come from Evolution Gaming, who’s a heavy hitter in the live gaming space.
Once you click on one of these games, you’ll be redirected to a section where you’ll find several tables to choose from (depending on the game). You’ll also find a navigation bar at the top with several filters to help you quickly find the game you want to play.
The lowest stakes we found for these games is $5 for blackjack. This is sort of a bummer since some live blackjack games can be played for as little as $1. However, $5 is pretty standard for a live game, so it’s not something we can hold against them.
You can play some of their other games, like baccarat or roulette, for $0.10-$1 per round.
The highest stakes we found were $5,000 for blackjack, $2,000 for roulette, and as much as $5,000 for everything else. These aren’t th highest stakes online, but they should work for most people.
One of the most impressive things about their games is the camera work. The different angles they use and the close-ups make it look like you’re watching a movie. Depending on the game, you can also change the camera option. For example, the roulette game lets you choose from 3D, immersive, or classic camera angles
The streams were very good considering how good the camera work was. We noticed a few lags, but they didn’t take away from the game much. The resolution was pretty good regardless.
Other features include the option to chat with your tablemates and the dealer, adjust the sound and camera angles, bet behind, and set up automatic actions. You can even multi-table several games at once.
Overall, we’re impressed with the live dealer casino at Spin Casino. You’ll have plenty of games to choose from, stakes, features, and men and women dealers that speak different languages.
We recommend you check it out.

The Sportsbook

Spin Casino is unique from some of the other casinos under The Palace Group brand in that they also have a sportsbook. It’s called Spin Sports.
Here’s what you can expect to find if you choose to bet here.

Sports, Market, and Betting Options

Spin Sports has an excellent selection of sports that you can bet on. Here’s what we found during our review.
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Tennis
  • Ice Hockey
  • American Football
  • Handball
  • Volleyball
  • Cricket
  • Rugby Union
  • Rugby League
  • Esports
  • Specials
  • Virtual Sports
  • Boxing
  • Gold
  • Badminton
  • Winter Sports
  • MMA
  • Darts
  • Snooker and Pool
  • Baseball
  • Cycling
  • Motor Racing
  • Speedway
  • Floorball
  • Table Tennis
  • Bandy
  • Aussie Rules
  • Surfing
  • Netball
  • Gaelic Football
  • Gaelic Hurling
  • Super Spin Specials
Many of these options have dropdown menus, too.
For example, click on the soccer option, and a dropdown menu containing options such as England, Europe, Spain, Italy, and Germany will appear. This goes for many of the other options, too — you’ll find countries as subcategories. You’ll need to click on these to find the different leagues that play in those countries.
Your betting options will obviously depend on the sport you bet on. We found plenty of choices, though. For example, you can bet outrights or money lines for Europa basketball. You’ll find spread betting, more money lines, oveunder, and outrights for NBA games.
Click on a match, and you’ll find additional markets. For example, we checked out an NBA game and found options to bet on different quarters, total points, team points per quarter or half, overtime, and more.
There are plenty of betting options here, which was a surprise, honestly, considering who’s running this sportsbook.

Live Betting

Spin Sports also offers live sports betting.
When we were there, you could bet on soccer, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, and cricket. We wouldn’t be surprised if they covered more matches than this (when those games are available).
In fact, we know that’s the case since we looked at their Event View and Live Schedule tabs. This is where you’ll see all the sports you can bet on, all the matches, and the number of betting opportunities available for each one.
And that’s about it for their live sportsbook. The one thing we’d really like to see added in the future is the option to watch live streams. It’d make sense to add a racebook too.
Here’s hoping that Spin Sports has both items on their to-do list.

Final Thoughts

Spin Sports is a much better sportsbook than we expected. It’s hard to expect something this impressive from a company that has been running only casinos for more than a decade.
We’re fans, though. There are plenty of sports and markets to bet on. You also have your standard options for betting in American, fractional, or decimal odds, as well as using the sportsbook in different languages.
That said, there is room for improvement. They could add a racebook, live streaming, and additional features and build out their esports section.
But we think they’ve done a good job so far, and it’ll be more than enough for your typical casino player or recreational bettor.

Banking Options

Something we noticed during our review is that there’s the option to deposit inside both the casino and the sportsbook. As far as we can tell, it looks like you’ll want to deposit to the section you plan to spend your time in.
In other words, if you want to bet sports, you’ll want to deposit to your sportsbook account. If you want to play blackjack or slots, you’ll want to make your deposit to the casino.
The good news is that it looks like the same banking options are accepted in both sections. Find an option that works for you, and you can use it in both places.
When we reviewed Spin Casino, we didn’t find any evidence that suggests they charge fees on their deposits. This is great news. However, it’s not clear whether they charge fees on withdrawals.
As for limits, you can cash out as much as €4,000 per week if the amount you’re trying to cash out is more than 5x the amount that you’ve deposited over the life of your account. Otherwise, it looks like you can cash out as much as £10,000 in a 24-hour period.
This will depend on the banking option you use, of course.
Progressive jackpots are exempt from these rules, which is great to see. It’s no surprise, though, considering that they work with Microgaming.
That wraps up their banking details. The following two sections will list the banking methods you can use to fund and cash out your account.

Deposits

  • Visa
  • Visa Electron
  • Mastercard
  • Maestro
  • Neteller
  • iDebit

Bonus Promotions

You can claim a few promotions as a customer of Spin Casino and Spin Sports. The following sections summarize the offers you can claim and the terms you need to fulfill if you do.

Spin Casino Promotions

The following are offers that you’ll find under the promotions tab on the casino side of things.

New Player Bonus

This is an offer available to first-time customers. Spin Casino is offering a 100% match bonus of up to $1,000. It’s spread out over your first three deposits like this.
  • First Deposit – 100% match up to $400
  • Second Deposit – 100% match up to $300
  • Third Deposit – 100% match up to $300
This is a nice offer because you have multiple opportunities to claim as much as you can. It’s especially helpful for players on a budget who can’t deposit $1,000 in one shot.
You will need to roll over this bonus 50x, though the playthrough will depend on the casino game you play. We recommend reading their terms if you plan to play a game other than slots.
The downside to this offer is that if you do happen to complete the playthrough with money to spare, and you want to withdraw it, cash-outs will be limited to 100 casino credits. You’ll forfeit the rest of the bonus.
That being the case, it might make more sense to play the bonus (and lose money) until you only have 100 credits left. Then make a withdrawal if you want. That way, you can enjoy the bonus money/winnings for as long as possible.
And that’s all they have for bonus offers. Spin Casino does say that they offer bonuses on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. We have no idea what those offers look like, though.
While we were there, we did notice that they have a “bonus wheel.” You spin the wheel, and you can earn prizes, such as bonuses to claim. It looks like you can spin the wheel once every couple of hours.
This is pretty neat.

Loyalty Club

Spin Casino also offers a loyalty club. This is a multi-tier program that awards more perks the higher your status.
This program has six levels.
  • Blue
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
  • Privé
As you ascend, you’ll receive additional perks such as bonus points, more entry points, exclusive tournaments, VIP support, phone support, and exclusive gifts and bonuses.
You can receive monthly bonuses too. Climb the ladder to the very top of their VIP program, and you can receive more than $10,000 every month in bonuses.
Getting to each tier is straightforward — you need to earn so many points to reach a specific status, and then so many points to maintain that status each month. You’ll earn 1 point for every $10 you spend in the casino.
We recommend you read their promotions page to determine for sure if this program will be a good fit for you. But if we understand their points setup and minimum point requirements correctly, then this looks like a good program to use — even for low-stakes players!

Spin Sports Promotions

You’ll need to be in the sportsbook section in order to find their sports betting promotions. The following are the promotions we found during our review, including what you can get and the terms you need to fulfill.
Free Bet – First-time sports bettors will be able to claim a free bet bonus. This is a 100% match up to $200. To claim the offer, deposit at least $10.
This offer has a 5x rollover ($1,000 if you claim the entire $200) before you can withdraw any winnings. We recommend you read their terms and conditions for their other rules, as you’ll need to abide by odd minimums/maximums when you make your bets.
And that’s the only offer we found for sports bettors during our review.
This isn’t a bad offer by any means. That said, it would be great if they had a few other promotions running. It’d be nice to see some kind of cashback or rebate offer or additional bonuses.
But as the saying goes, something is better than nothing.

Mobile Friendliness

Both Spin Casino and Spin Sports are mobile-friendly. You don’t need to download any apps. All you need to do is go to the casino or sportsbook from your phone or tablet and log in. You’ll be able to play all games and make bets from your browser.
It looks like you’ll have the full sportsbook at your disposal. And considering that they work with Microgaming and Evolution Gaming, we wouldn’t be surprised if most or even all of their casino games are available.

Customer Support

You can use the following options to contact Spin Casino.
The email address above is addressed to the parent company of Spin Casino. The issue with that is they manage several other casinos.
For that reason, we recommend that you make it clear that you’re a Spin Casino customer when you contact them. That way, you eliminate any confusion and reduce the chances of any unnecessary back and forth.
We were disappointed to see that they don’t offer phone support despite saying they do in multiple places throughout their website.
That said, phone support still isn’t a standard communication method offered by online gambling sites. It wouldn’t be fair if we held the lack of phone support against Spin Casino.
Besides, you can contact them 24/7 using the methods above. We sent Spin Casino an email, and we were surprised to receive a response less than two hours later. They answered our questions, too.
That’s better than the average casino for sure. For that reason, we give Spin Casino’s support two virtual thumbs up.

Not only that, but we also anticipated their live dealer casino offering even higher stakes.

When you make a winning hand, you can click the “double” button to play a mini game to see if you can double up. Keep in mind that if you lose this game, you lose everything.
The best feature, though, had to be the automatic hold. Many video poker machines will tell you when you made a winning hand so that you don’t forget to hold those cards. However, one of the machines we played automatically held the best cards according to common video poker strategy.

  • Lightening Roulette
These aren’t the highest stakes online, but they should work for most people.

Spin Sports

Spin Casino is unique from some of the other casinos under The Palace Group brand in that they also have a sportsbook. It’s called Spin Sports.
Here’s what you can expect to find if you choose to bet here.

Sports, Market, and Betting Options

Spin Sports has an excellent selection of sports that you can bet on. Here’s what we found during our review.
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Tennis
  • Ice Hockey
  • American Football
  • Handball
  • Volleyball
  • Cricket
  • Rugby Union
  • Rugby League
  • Esports
  • Specials
  • Virtual Sports
  • Boxing
  • Gold
  • Badminton
  • Winter Sports
  • MMA
  • Darts
  • Snooker and Pool
  • Baseball
  • Cycling
  • Motor Racing
  • Speedway
  • Floorball
  • Table Tennis
  • Bandy
  • Aussie Rules
  • Surfing
  • Netball
  • Gaelic Football
  • Gaelic Hurling
  • Super Spin Specials
Many of these options have dropdown menus, too.
For example, click on the soccer option, and a dropdown menu containing options such as England, Europe, Spain, Italy, and Germany will appear. This goes for many of the other options, too — you’ll find countries as subcategories. You’ll need to click on these to find the different leagues that play in those countries.
Your betting options will obviously depend on the sport you bet on. We found plenty of choices, though. For example, you can bet outrights or moneylines for Europa basketball. You’ll find spread betting, moneylines, oveunders, and outrights for NBA games.

  • Visa
  • Visa Electron
  • Mastercard
  • Maestro
  • Neteller
  • iDebit
  • Trustly
  • Skrill

  • Neosurf

  • Direct Bank Transfer

Bonus Promotions

You can claim a few promotions as a customer of Spin Casino and Spin Sports. The following sections summarize the offers you can claim and terms you need to fulfill if you do.

Spin Casino Promotions

The following are offers that you’ll find under the promotions tab on the casino side of things.

New Player Bonus

This is an offer available to first-time customers. Spin Casino is offering a 100% match bonus up to $1,000.

But if we understand their points setup and minimum point requirements correctly, then this looks like a good program to us — even for low-stakes players!

Both Spin Casino and Spin Sports are mobile friendly.

MAME 0.218

MAME 0.218

It’s time for MAME 0.218, the first MAME release of 2020! We’ve added a couple of very interesting alternate versions of systems this month. One is a location test version of NMK’s GunNail, with different stage order, wider player shot patterns, a larger player hitbox, and lots of other differences from the final release. The other is The Last Apostle Puppetshow, an incredibly rare export version of Home Data’s Reikai Doushi. Also significant is a newer version Valadon Automation’s Super Bagman. There’s been enough progress made on Konami’s medal games for a number of them to be considered working, including Buttobi Striker, Dam Dam Boy, Korokoro Pensuke, Shuriken Boy and Yu-Gi-Oh Monster Capsule. Don’t expect too much in terms of gameplay though — they’re essentially gambling games for children.
There are several major computer emulation advances in this release, in completely different areas. Possibly most exciting is the ability to install and run Windows NT on the MIPS Magnum R4000 “Jazz” workstation, with working networking. With the assistance of Ash Wolf, MAME now emulates the Psion Series 5mx PDA. Psion’s EPOC32 operating system is the direct ancestor of the Symbian operating system, that powered a generation of smartphones. IDE and SCSI hard disk support for Acorn 8-bit systems has been added, the latter being one of the components of the BBC Domesday Project system. In PC emulation, Windows 3.1 is now usable with S3 ViRGE accelerated 2D video drivers. F.Ulivi has contributed microcode-level emulation of the iSBC-202 floppy controller for the Intel Intellec MDS-II system, adding 8" floppy disk support.
Of course there are plenty of other improvements and additions, including re-dumps of all the incorrectly dumped GameKing cartridges, disassemblers for PACE, WE32100 and “RipFire” 88000, better Geneve 9640 emulation, and plenty of working software list additions. You can get the source and 64-bit Windows binary packages from the download page (note that 32-bit Windows binaries and “zip-in-zip” source code are no longer supplied).
