After 15 years, EVE Online is having it's first $1,000,000 battle tomorrow. Here is your guide to the action.

tl;dr: Four years ago there was an EVE battle where $300,000 worth of stuff was destroyed, and it made the news. After that battle, EVE’s greatest player, The Mittani, made a bunch of money selling out his massive 15,000 person super-organized gaming community to other games for cash. This went well, but then he tried to raise $150,000 in a kickstarter to get Sci-Fi Author Jeff Edwards to write a book about himself and a famous war he won in EVE Online. The rest of the EVE player community revolted against this idea, the kickstarter fell short in spectacular fashion, and the community then united to destroy The Mittani’s EVE empire once and for all, bank rolled by a massive EVE casino run by one guy. Towards the end of that war, the guy who ran that casino was banned because the CS:GO gambling scandal made the game company behind EVE afraid of lawsuits related to gambling. With no money bankrolling them, the EVE community split apart before they could deal the final blow, and now 15 months later, EVE’s greatest player is back for revenge in what could be EVE Online’s first $1,000,000 battle.
Hi, IAMA fleet commander in the MMO video game EVE Online. EVE Online is the game that many of you “love to read about, but would never actually play”. I don’t blame you, it’s a complicated time sink, and if you’re not careful it can add a few years to your college career (plenty of people take 6 years to graduate though, so it’s no big deal). It’s likely that the last time many of you read about this game was back in 2014 when roughly $300,000 worth of warships were destroyed in a single day, as reported by Wired, CBS, ABC, etc. Well, nearly four years later, a crazy timeline of events has led us to what is going to be EVE Online’s first $1,000,000 dollar battle, that will dwarf the size of the famous battle four years ago. This battle will be occurring tomorrow at roughly 20:00 UTC (3 pm US Eastern). Since plenty of you gamers enjoy reading about the crazy people who play EVE Online, I’ve decided to type up a simple guide to the battle happening tomorrow as well as the unbelievable events that led up to it, so you can continue to read about EVE from a safe distance.

A super basic guide to EVE Combat:

EVE combat really isn’t that hard to understand if you’ve ever played even just a few video games and understand basic video game concepts. EVE has many many ship classes, divided into three main groups: subcapital, capital, and super capital. But there are really only two that matter: Titans (the biggest super capital class), and Force-Auxiliary Carriers (the only capital class ship that can efficiently heal capital and super capital ships). Titans are the best ships in the game because they have the largest hitpoint pool by a large margin and they do the most damage. Titans are also the most expensive ships in the game by a large margin, which is why two sides with lots of titans rarely fight each other, and when they do it tends to make the news. The big fight that happened in 2014 that I mentioned above is the last time that two real titan fleets faced off against each other. In that battle, each side fielded roughly 80 titans, with the losing side losing 59 titans and the winning side losing 16 titans. Tomorrow, each side will field over 250 titans, and likely 1,000 support capitals and super capitals. The story of how the game went from a 100 titan battle to a 500 titan battle in 4 years, with no big battles in between, is truly amazing and worth reading for even the most casual observers, but before I get into that here’s a brief aside on why all the news media like to quote EVE battles in $$ values (hint: for clicks, but it’s technically accurate).

How did $300,000 get destroyed four years ago? And why is this a $1,000,000 battle?

Though a majority players are content to just pay the monthly subscription and play the game, EVE Online has a convenient method for calculating the conversion rate of in-game currency (called ISK, I’m going to use ISK from now on) to real world currency because it allows its players to buy “subscription time” and sell it on the in-game market for extra ISK. Basically, I can take $15 dollars, buy a 30 day subscription code, put that on the in-game market, and someone can use ISK to buy that game time and play the game for free. Using this, we can calculate the conversion rate for any ship or item to generate amazing headlines so the EVE players can justify how much time they all spend on this game.
Fun Fact: Just like other games with microtransactions, there are crazy people in EVE who blow stupid amounts of money on this game. Not many EVE players know this, but the current Chinese Player group (Fraternity Coalition) has had their current war funded by one guy for the last two months, and he has spent $70,000 doing that, and they’re still going to lose anyway, which is kind of hilarious.
But enough about that, let’s get to the fun part, the crazy story of how the game got to where it is today.

Why are $1,000,000 worth of nerds facing off in a battle tomorrow?

The great thing about this story is that we can pick up right where we left off in 2014. After that big giant battle, the winning side (The ClusterFuck Coalition, CFC from here on) were kings of the universe. While they didn’t own all of the space, it was clear that no one could challenge their power. Their leader, The Mittani, had built the largest and most organized online gaming organization on the internet, with an estimated member count exceeding 15,000 people, and capable of summoning over 1,000 players to login to the game at a moment’s notice. With nothing left to conquer, he decided to try and grow the CFC into something even greater. He had already started a gaming news website named after himself, so he started a Twitch channel to go along with it, and then started cozying up to people in the gaming industry. He started approaching different gaming companies and offering to bring the CFC to their game if they would give them special promotions and free ingame items, and this worked. They did this for Planetside 2 and H1Z1. The Mittani would constantly push these promotions on his members in the CFC, and for the most part this went pretty well.
Then, in late 2015, they decided to aim even higher. The Mittani had somehow gotten to know Sci-Fi author Jeff Edwards, and convinced him to write a Sci-Fi book about a war that happened in EVE Online. The Mittani was going to do a $150,000 kickstarter to pay Edward’s fee, and his media machine spun into full action to attempt to raise the money from not just the CFC, but the entire EVE Online community. There were two problems with this plan though: 1) The CFC was starting to turn on the idea of being constantly harassed for money, and 2) The war he wanted to write about was one that his side won, and The Mittani, famous among EVE players for his ego, was likely going to be the main character. The final straw was when he renamed his gaming organization to ‘The Imperium’, because ClusterFuck Coalition wasn’t advertiser friendly. The events surrounding the failed kickstarter are immortalized in one of /eve’s greatest post
The EVE community was ready to revolt, but it took the richest person in EVE Online to get them all together into a cohesive coalition capable of defeating The Imperium/CFC. That person was Lenny, who ran a wildly successful casino website where players could use ISK to play. Bank Rolled with virtually infinite money, the newly formed Moneybadger Coalition absolutely steamrolled the Imperium in a few months, taking every single piece of land they owned. The Imperium retreated out of their territory, and most of the Moneybadger Coalition was content to let them run away, satisfied that if the Imperium ever threatened again that Lenny would be there to throw money at the problem.Rock Paper Shotgun wrote a good summary of the war
Then, the CS:GO Gambling scandal happened, and the company that makes EVE Online, CCP, became scared that lawsuits could start coming their way if they continued to allow a giant casino website to run using in game money. This was exacerbated by the Imperium publicly whining and complaining about the casino website for weeks, until CCP made an announcement. The announcement declared that gambling was no longer allowed with ISK, and that they had identified one player who was trading ISK for real life currency against the rules. Though Lenny still denies it and no concrete evidence was ever provided, Lenny was banned from the game and all of his in game assets frozen. Moneybadger's bank disappeared in a single day.
It was August 2016 by the time the dust settled, nearly 10 months after the failed kickstarter, and the galaxy slid into a semblance of peace. But The Mittani swore revenge (publicly on his twitch channel), and what followed was the game’s greatest arms race, with the Imperium/CFC and the former Moneybadger forces each building massive super capital fleets. Over the past few months the Imperium has been hinting at a major invasion, even feigning a few attacks north into Moneybadger space. But that time is now over. Suddenly and without warning, the Imperium turned a harmless border skirmish into a full scale invasion, catching the Moneybadger forces with their pants down. Tomorrow is the first decisive battle of this new war, it could potentially dwarf the famous battle from four years ago.

So what will actually happen?

In all likelihood? Nothing. And it’s at this point that I must reveal the reason for typing this post. You may be thinking, “Wow, EVE has a really engaged community for someone to take the time to type up a post like this”, but oh how naive you are. The purpose of this post is to point out that the fleet commanders on both sides of this battle are nothing but complete cowards.
I’ll tell you exactly what’s going to happen. The Mittani will hype his people up for hours, and the Moneybadger people will do the same. Then their fleet commanders will get their fleets onto the field of battle and place them into their “safe zones” that they’ve setup for themselves (it’s a dumb new game mechanic). Then, they will stare at each other for literally hours, and send out NPC drones that they barely control that mostly do nothing, while leaving all of their Titans in complete safety. They will then each make up a bunch of excuses, declare the other side as “cowardly” for not directly charging into their defensive position, and tell everyone to log off from the game. Don’t believe me? Everyone in EVE knows this, even the players involved in tomorrow’s battle. I’m serious, here was the top post on /eve for most of today from a group within the Imperium
Don’t let these people tell you it’s “the game’s fault that they can’t fight each other”, it’s no one’s fault but their own. I’m just hoping that both sides don’t end up staring at their computer screens for 8 hours tomorrow doing nothing, but that all depends on the fleet commanders.

Blitzino Casino Games

The games that are included in the casino’s collection have been created with an adaptive and responsive design. There are well over 500 games, created to keep the players coming back to the site time and time again- blackjack, slots, live dealer games, poker, roulette, bingo, lotto etc.
Slots are probably the most popular type of game, primarily thanks to the ‘speed round’ bonus the casino has, that could naturally be played mostly on slot games. There are many varieties-multi-line, 3-reel, 1- pay line, and so on. The casino has included the most popular and exciting slot games in its line-up, such as Mega Moolah, The Dark Knight, King Cashalot, Mega Fortune, Gonzo’s Quest, Game of Thrones and many others.
Blackjack is a game that requires a little more skill, so it’s preferred mostly by professional players. Blitzino Casino’s blackjack collection includes many famous titles, such as American Blackjack, Pontoon, Single Deck Blackjack, Double Deck Blackjack, Progressive Blackjack and Super 21 Blackjack. Roulette is a well-known game of chance. The casino has featured a few of the most popular versions- European roulette, French roulette and American roulette.
Poker in Blitzino Casino also comes with a few variations – Texas Hold’em, Caribbean Stud poker, Triple Stud, 7- Card Stud, Ace 5 Low- Ball, 2-7 Single Draw, 2-7 Triple Draw, 5- Card Omaha and many more. Besides, there are two games that the site offers, which are not utilized much in other casinos – these are the games Bingo and Lotto. They are great for beginners because the stakes are low. Players can gradually improve their skills, before trying their luck at a more advanced game like video poker or blackjack.
Blitzino Casino has an impressive collection of Live dealer games. These types of games provide a comfortable atmosphere, incredible graphics and a helpful dealer who is always ready to come to the aid of the wondering player. The list of Live casino games mostly feature versions of Roulette, Blackjack and Poker, as those titles are the most common in the selection.

Blitzino Casino Mobile App

Blitzino Casino are yet to develop a mobile app, but it does not mean you can’t enjoy their games on your smartphone devices. The casino’s mobile version works just fine and is a clone of its desktop version. All casino games available on the desktop version can be found in your mobile browser. In order to play your favorite games at Blitzino Casino from your mobile device, simply load the website from your preferred browser.

Blitzino Casino Payment Methods

The site uses only the most convenient payment methods. This way, it’s easier for the customers to quickly deposit or withdrawal the money if they need to. The top three ways a player can transfer money when they make an account at Blitzino Casino are using Trustly, a bank wire transfer and a Cryptocurrency.
Trustly has the reputation of a safe, fast and simple-to-use method of making transactions. There isn’t a stated withdrawal limit, and the pending time is rather quick at around 15 minutes per transaction. Cryptocurrency is a newly developed way for players around the world to make transactions. With this casino, transfers are usually made with Bitcoin.

Blitzino Casino Conclusion

Blitzino Casino is an online gambling establishment, created in 2018. Though the site is recent, the operators have made it clear that they prioritize the safety of the players. Blitzino Casino uses high-quality forms of encryption to ensure that the personal information of customers stays intact. The primary language, in which the casino site operates is German.
Furthermore, the site has partnered up with numerous software providers, to give the gamblers a multitude of different and exciting games to enjoy. The downsides are that there aren’t many bonuses or promotions or that many different payment methods. This could be explained with the fact that the site has only recently come into being, and therefore has plenty of time to improve on these aspects of its portfolio.

After 15 years, EVE Online is having it's first $1,000,000 battle on Saturday.

This battle will be occurring Saturday at roughly 20:00 UTC (3 pm US Eastern). Since plenty of you gamers enjoy reading about the crazy people who play EVE Online, I’ve decided to type up a simple guide to the battle happening Saturday as well as the unbelievable events that led up to it, so you can continue to read about EVE from a safe distance.

On Saturday, each side will field over 250 titans, and likely 1,000 support capitals and super capitals.

Why are $1,000,000 worth of nerds facing off in a battle on Saturday?

The great thing about this story is that we can pick up right where we left off in 2014. After that big giant battle, the winning side (Test Alliance Please Ignore, TAPI from here on) were kings of the universe. While they didn’t own all of the space, it was clear that no one could challenge their power. Their leader, Sapporo Jones, had built the largest and most organized online gaming organization on the internet, with an estimated member count exceeding 15,000 people, and capable of summoning over 1,000 players to login to the game at a moment’s notice. With nothing left to conquer, he decided to try and grow the TAPI into something even greater.
It was August 2016 by the time the dust settled, nearly 10 months after the failed kickstarter, and the galaxy slid into a semblance of peace. But Sapporo Jones swore revenge, and what followed was the game’s greatest arms race, with the Imperium/TAPI and the Eastern Donut forces each building massive super capital fleets. Over the past few months TAPI has been hinting at a major invasion. But that time is now over. Suddenly and without warning, TAPI turned a harmless border skirmish into a full scale invasion, getting caught in Immensea with their pants down. Saturday is the first decisive battle of this new war, it could potentially dwarf the famous battle from four years ago.

Sapporo Jones will hype his people up for hours, and the Eastern Donut people will do the same. Everyone in EVE knows this, even the players involved in Saturday's battle. I’m serious, here was the top post on /eve for most of today from a group within the Imperium
Don’t let these people tell you it’s “the game’s fault that they can’t fight each other”, it’s no one’s fault but their own. I’m just hoping that both sides don’t end up staring at their computer screens for 8 hours on Saturday doing nothing, but that all depends on the fleet commanders.

A Guide to Free Cash Offers

I wanted to write up a little guide on how to quickly earn free cash. So far I've earned 9,644 and counting, so it's going pretty well.
Updates
I'm adding a date for any of them that I'm adding as I go through more so you can find the new ones.
General Tips and Thoughts
I'm only doing offers that don't require you to pay or give out your address. All of the "Take this survey!" offers I've tried have required a home address.
When installing a game make sure you follow the link inside the offer in JWA, and immediately install it from the playstore page that pulls up. All of my rewards have come through within minutes.
Also, the amount of cash rewarded can vary a great deal for different players and isn't even consistently proportional. For example, I received 3428 cash for a Final Fantasy XV that another player would only get 541 cash for. So the "Value" rankings are based on the effort and cash for me specifically in Oregon in the US. Kudos to u/bluesteel3000 for the info.
Final Fantasy XV 3528 cash -- Level 10 citadel
Strategy Build lots of stone producing buildings, and about 1/2 as many metal producing buildings. Also build a few banks to produce gil. Research instant building completion. Upgrade what's needed for the citadel, ignore the rest of the game unless it gives you free stuff (like casino and quests).
Time to complete A few days. You'll need to log in for a few minutes repeatedly to queue buildings.
Value High. That's a ton of cash.
Lords Mobile 1612 cash -- Level 11 Castle
Strategy Queue the buildings needed for the castle. Complete free quests and use instant resource items when needed for buildings. Research construction speed if you feel like it.
Time to complete A few days. You'll need to log in repeatedly to queue buildings.
Value High. A lot of cash. I actually played the rest of the game for fun while I was at it. One of the more entertaining ones.
Forge of Empires 336 cash -- Thatched House
Strategy Research the requirements for the thatched house.
Time to complete Go through the tutorial, then log off for half a day. When you log back in you should be able to immediately research and build the thatched house.
Value High. This one only requires two log ins, and is probably the best time-to-cash ratio one I've completed.
Idle Heroes 392 cash -- Player level 40
Strategy Progress until you're getting about 10 xp per 5 seconds. Log back in in about 24 hours and collect all the accumulated XP.
Time to complete Only requires a little bit of playing upfront, then just logging in once or twice a day or two later.
Value High. Very little active time required.
Portal Quest 280 cash -- Team Level 10
Strategy Level up your characters. Click on the buildings and quests for free stuff and equip items.
Time to complete One login, 30 minutes to an hour.
Value High. Pretty easy to complete for a bit of cash.
King of Avalon 196 cash -- Level 5
Strategy Follow the tutorial for a little while, then go straight for leveling up your castle.
Time to complete A few logins, not much active time.
Value Medium. Not too long to complete, not much cash.
Coin Master 616 cash -- Complete Village Level 2 (i.e. get to village level 3)
Strategy This game has no strategy.
Time to complete About a day. A few logins of grinding that big ol' lottery spinner.
Value Medium. Reasonable amount of cash, reasonable amount of time, but a really painful game to have to play.
Alliance: Heroes of the Spire 560 cash -- Level 10 Hero
Strategy Do the main quest until it gets too difficult, then do the extra stage areas, and back to main quest.
Time to complete A few hours of gameplay, a few log ins.
Value Medium. Good amount of cash, not too much effort.
New 6/18; Tap to Riches 313 cash -- Purchase Kickback Bank
Strategy Spend a few minutes holding down the "build" buttons. Then log off for 8+ hours. Rinse and repeat.
Time to complete You can complete this with very little active time if you're patient and don't click the empty lot to generate money. It's better to log off and come back!
Value Medium if you only play for short sessions.
New 6/18; Disney Heroes 168 cash -- Team level 7
Strategy Just play.
Time to complete One to two hours.
Value Medium. Pretty easy and quick to accomplish.
New 6/18; Monster Legends 123 cash -- Level 10
Strategy Just play the game.
Time to complete A couple hours spread across a couple sessions.
Value Medium-low. Not much cash, but doesn't take too long.
Summoners War 1400 cash -- Beat Level 9 Faimon Volcano
Strategy You have to build a strong balanced team. Depends on what heroes you get.
Time to complete This game requires a lot of fighting and leveling up your characters and unlocking new areas.
Value Medium-low. A lot of cash, but takes a lot of time to complete. Game is relatively fun, until you realize it's disgustingly P2W like every game on this list (and JWA itself ...)
Legendary Game of Heroes 560 cash -- Player level 20
Strategy Get in an okay guild. Use the guild characters in your fights for a super-powered assist. Power up a bunch of characters in one or two colors and try to match massive matches of those colors.
Time to complete This game requires a few hours and a few log ins.
Value Medium-low. I enjoyed this one, or it wouldn't have been worth the time it took.
New 6/18; Vikings: War of Clans 750 cash -- Palace level 10
Strategy Build resource production buildings.
Time to complete Took 5 days with multiple short logins per day.
Value Medium-low. A good amount of cash, but takes a long time.
Homescapes / Gardenscapes etc. low amounts of cash -- Install and open or tutorial
Strategy I couldn't complete the tutorials, but u/Wolvenna said they didn't take long, so YMMV.
Value Medium-low. Good for a quick little cash boost.
Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes! 111 cash -- Level 8
Strategy Follow the tutorial, do the main quest.
Time to complete This game took a few hours and a couple logins.
Value Low. The game was reasonably fun, but a bad time to cash ratio.
New 6/18; Brutal Age 616 cash -- Level 12 Stronghold
Strategy Build up a good sized army to hunt resources with. Hunt the resources you need, do all the free quests.
Time to complete Still in progress, but a week+ of frequent logins and many hours.
Value Super low. Do this one if you like the game or are desperate for cash.
Board Kings 190 cash -- Finish Level 2
Value None. Doesn't work. I got to level 3 and never got the reward.
New 6/18; Mafia City 840 cash -- Level 10 mansion + other requirements
Strategy Do the main quest things, unlock the babe, build a lot of resource production buildings and upgrade them.
Time to complete This one did not redeem for me. I've submitted a ticket with screen shots but no response yet. It took me 5+ days and many logins.
Value None. Doesn't work.
New 6/18; Konami Slots 644 cash -- Level 15
Strategy This felt a lot like real slot machines. You start out with a lot of money, and before long you have no money and have to pay real money for the chance of winning more money.
Time to complete I think I would've had to pay real money? I gave up.
Value Why did I even try this thing?
Alright, that's all I've completed for now! Might update this later with other games. Currently trying out Mafia City (Hello half-naked ladies and lots of bullet riddled bodies).

Gem Offers - Let's compile which ones are worth it

I'm trying to make a compilation of the Fyber / TapJoy rewards so that we can all have a better idea of which ones are worth the time. If anyone has any offers to add in the comments I'll put them in this post.
Note that gem/diamond amounts will vary from user to user, but the listed amount should be a decent approximation. It's recommended to check both Fyber and TapJoy before selecting an offer as one service may reward you better than the other.

Free Slots Casino - House of F (876 diamonds)
Reach level 20
Not worth imo. You can autoplay, but you will likely run out of coins well before level 20 so then you have to check the app every 2 hours to get small amounts of coins to play with.

Board Kings (409 diamonds)
Reach level 3
This one is super easy, it took about an hour play time. Roll your dice, build buildings whenever possible, and you should hit level 3 quite quickly.

Vegas Words - Downtown Slots & Word (409 diamonds)
Reach level 11
This one is very easy. Set the slot to autoplay, level 11 does not take long. You will need to click every now and then to close various prompts. The coins you start with should easily be enough to hit level 11 unless you have really bad luck.

First Kobo Audiobook for free (935 diamonds)
Start your free trial, download and play your free audiobook.
You need a CC for this one, and you will not be billed. You can cancel the subscription immediately and you will still keep all rewards. It took maybe 15 minutes, and I got my diamonds almost immediately after.

Poker Heat - Free Texas Holdem (351 diamonds)
Reach level 5
Not worth it unless you really like poker. It seems like this one would take a couple of hours as progress was quite slow. I know I would have run out of free coins long before level 5, but I'm not a great poker player.

Lords Mobile (2131 diamonds)
Beat a level 2 monster
(Note: it says beat, but you only need to attack a level 2 monster to get credit) This one is very much worthwhile. It takes about an hour of constant playing to finish. Level your main building (town hall or whatever its called) to 7 asap, and only level other buildings when required. Join a guild as soon as you can as guild members can reduce your build times. Use gems and the cooldown reduction tickets that you get for completing quests and you should be done in no time.

Legendary: Game of Heroes (2571 diamonds)
Reach rank 20
Suuuuuuper boring, but easy to do. Just play level 2 (1-2) over and over and over like 200 times and you will be rank 20. It takes maybe 2 hours of mind numbing repetition. This is worth it because of the number of gems, but do yourself a favor and have Netflix on or something while completing this one.

Pirate Kings (643 diamonds)
Finish Island Three
If you're going to do this one, try and do as much as possible in one session. With a little luck you might be able to finish with just the starting number of spins. When you leave game and let time pass other players can blow up your island, which will set you back. If possible try to take any breaks as soon as you get to a new island and when you have very little money on hand. This one won't time much in game time, but you will likely have to play for a few minutes several days as spins recharge slowly.

milkshaakes pointed out this post which shows the following offers (it's for a different game, so it shows cash instead of diamonds):

Final Fantasy XV 3528 cash -- Level 10 citadel
Strategy Build lots of stone producing buildings, and about 1/2 as many metal producing buildings. Also build a few banks to produce gil. Research instant building completion. Upgrade what's needed for the citadel, ignore the rest of the game unless it gives you free stuff (like casino and quests).
Time to complete A few days. You'll need to log in for a few minutes repeatedly to queue buildings.

Value High. This one only requires two log ins, and is probably the best time-to-cash ratio one I've completed.

[7th Nico Livestream] JP Megathread

Active Time Q&A Battle

Q1 - Will there be more opportunities to earn more 4✭ & 5✭ motes? Golden Week event will award more motes and we also plan to give out at a higher pace as more Legend Dives are unlocked
Q2 - There are many wonderful original BGM arranges in FFRK. What are the difficulties and interesting episodes when selecting them? And also are there more original arranges in the future? A sneak peek at new BGM remixes was played during the Interval
Q3 - The recently implemented Magicite Dungeons are too difficult. Please make them easier! Currently we do not have plans to make the Magicite Dungeons easier, but we will gradually add more ways for players to conquer them. The current difficulty will not be lowered.
Q4 - We are happy that the DUs have added VII:CC and X-2 doors. Are there other realms in the future? As mentioned in an earlier FFRK Report, there will be XIII-2 coming in June as well. Other realms that we will be adding and currently in development is FFXV and FF Type-0.
Q5 - I don't have enough party slots! Can you please add more? Firstly, I would like to apologize about the 20 slot limitation. Unfortunately, due to current system limitations we can't easily add more slots at the moment. We'll consider to add this to the list of items to be developed but currently it will not be easy to implement this.

Upcoming Events

Upcoming updates

New Character: Shadow Smith Was teased in the Global 2nd Anniversary message from Tetsuya Nomura. Name has been decided as well. He was introduced because Tyro is a very innocent and cheerful boy, so it's very hard to progress the story with just him alone. Therefore, Shadow Smith is added to move the story better. Viewers are already calling him "Dark Tyro", "Shadow Tyro". The next Magicite Dungeon update will introduce him in to the game.
Episode: Magicite 2nd part For those who have cleared the Magicite Dungeons in game already have known that our heroes are searching for the Holy and Dark Magicite dungeons. The next update will finally unlock them! You need to clear all six Magicite Dungeons to access the Holy and Dark Magicite dungeons.
The Holy Magicite Dungeon boss will be Mist Dragon. It possesses a Super Magicite Skill that deals 4xAoE Holy magic damage and gives party Dark resistance and will use strong Holy attacks to aid the party in battle. The passives for Mist Dragon are BarHoly and Mental Up
The Dark Magicite Dungeon boss is Shadow Dragon that has a Super Magicite Skill dealing 6xST Dark magic dmg with chance to cause Sap and increases the party's Dark damage. Similar to Mist Dragon, it will use Dark attacks to aid the party in battle and has passive effects of BarDark and Armor Up.
New original Story!! Sasaki-san also revealed that there is an entirely new original story that is in development for FFRK! Unlike the Magicite Dungeons that requires clearing the Abyss Dungeons etc, they are planning for this original story to be accessible to more players! This is also semi-related (maybe!) to the earlier question on why they will not reduce the difficulty of Magicite Dungeons. He hopes players will enjoy the new content as well.

Interval

Earlier, there was a poll asking players to vote for their favourite FF sound tracks from each series, the results are out and they have chosen the top songs to be done as medley remixes. A sample of the new remixes was played in the Interval.

Fan Voting Section

First off, a follow up on the previous livestream fan voting questions result.
New Dress Record: Terra A Dissidia Final Fantasy event will be held on 5/5 - 19/5 to introduce the new Amano Terra Dress Record! Not only that, they will also give PCecil a new Dress Record (still being adjusted). Also, there is W-Share collab event between FFRK and DFF Opera Omnia (produced by Hazama as well) for 2 days from 5/5 to 7/5. The details of the collab campaign will be revealed in the respective apps later.
New Party Members: Rude and Elena Rude and Elena will be added to the game in May's month end event for FFRK!
New Spinoff Series: FF Tactics Advance To be honest, they didn't discuss or get permission with the FFTA staff when they held the Livestream earlier (lol) but Hazama-san finally went to ask for permission and successfully got it! FFTA event is currently being scheduled to be held somewhere in June, but no details will be revealed now.
That concludes the follow up for the previous livestream fan voting results!
Moving on the fan vote questions....
Q1 - Which Dress Record do you want the most?
Q2 - Which Villain do you want the most as a party member in game?
Q3 - Which Boss do you want to fight the most in FFRK? (note that the boss voted here will be implemented as a Superboss)
As Ozma is very special, they will have some difficulties translating the mechanics in to FFRK. More details will be provided later.

FF30th Anniversary events

Official Site: https://ffrk.jp/cpn/ff30th/

The FF30th Anniversary event will be called FF30th Anniversary Parade and it will start on 28th April. The event's main focus is to walk through the 30 years of memories of the Final Fantasy Series.
Countdown Lucky Draws Starting from 25/04, there will be 3 Countdown Lucky Draws held with a new one each day. The Lucky Draws are:
Each Lucky draw lasts only 1 day.
FF30th Anniversary Dungeon Holding Period: 28/04 to 15/05 This dungeon will feature the early bosses from each mainline Final Fantasy. The objective is to gather Memento Pieces from each boss. While each boss also gives an Accessory reward, defeating all the bosses will let you claim Tyro's new Ultra Soul Break, "Open the Final Fantasy!". This USB will do 17xST physical dmg, party small ATK/MAG/MND/DEF/RES up and Haste. Also, the animation for this Soul Break features the main characters from each mainline FF so far! And since they already did such a high number of hits for this USB, they think it's possible to do Knights of the Round now.... hmmmm
FF30th Crystal Tower Challenge event Holding Period: 28/04 to 15/05 The infamous Crystal Tower from FFIII will be the special challenge event for Golden Week. There are 6 Levels to conquer in this event, and the gimmick this time is that each level needs to be conquered by different parties and characters that have already conquered a level can't be used for another one. It's similar to FFVI's Kefka's Tower system to make it easier to imagine. There are 5 bosses to be defeated, FF3 Xande, FFVII Tonberry King, FFVI Omega Weapon, FFXIII Alexander and FFXII Hashmal before the final boss, FFI Chaos is unlocked.
FF30th Golden Week Orbfest Holding Period: 28/04 to 08/05 Last year's Golden Vault dungeon makes a comeback this year as well! Like last year, there will be Goldor's appearing that drop casino chips when defeated. Use the Casino chips in the Golden Playground Roulette for incredible prizes! Also, the format will undergo a slight change as the dungeons will be done in 2 phases with 2 groups of Orbs per phase, while the upgrade material dungeon will be opened throughout the event.
FF30th Login bonus Holding period: 29/04 to 15/05 Additional 10-day login bonus in commemoration of the FF30th celebrations. 10th day reward will be a specially created FF30th Potion accessory!
FF30th Anniversary Fest Holding period: 28/04 to 08/05 Five banners, running for 48 hours each. The Fest this time will feature EX Mode USB's for all the mainline Final Fantasy up to FFXV so far. 8 new USB's for Warrior of Light, Firion, Luneth, Zidane, Tidus, Shantotto, Alphinaud and Noctis will debut in this fest!
FF30th Selection Draw Holding Period: 01/05 to 15/05 Gem-only, 1 time special draw. After drawing this banner, you additionally choose 1 Burst for the character of your liking as a special prize. I might be wrong but they said over 100 Burst is available to choose from.
Crystal Tokyo Tower Holding Period: 28/04 19:00 - 23:00 This is an actual collaboration with the real life Tokyo Tower. The campaign site is currently hosting a countdown and when it hits zero, a special prize will be awarded to players in game. Tokyo Tower will also have a special lighting that is a tribute to the Crystal Tower when it hits zero.
Tokyo Tower 4D Battle Projection Holding Period: 28/04 - 07/05 The Tokyo Tower Main Observatory will be holding a 4D Battle Projection event featuring scenes from the FF series bosses over the Tokyo night sky.
Tokyo Tower Animate FF30th Premium Store Holding Period: 28/04 ~ The Tokyo Tower Animate branch will be selling special FF30th Anniversary limited edition merchandise during the event duration.
FFRK x FF30th Anniversary Special CM Holding Period: 29/04 20:00 A special CM with narration by Takahiro Sakurai and Maaya Sakamoto will air during this time nationwide on CX channel.
FF30th Commemoration Baseball Match Holding Period: 30/04 13:00 ~ Special baseball match between Yokohama DeNA Baystars and Hiroshima Toyo Carp to commemorate FF30th. The opening bat will be done with a Buster Sword.
FF30th Mythril Dungeon Holding Period: 28/04 - 15/05 Mythril Dungeon that awards 30 Mythril when clearing it. One time only.
There's also a special announcement they wanted to reveal here but the higher-ups denied them behind the camera. So we will know later....
Finally, 10 mythrils will be sent to all players as the 7th Livestream Commemoration mythril gift.

UPDATED Idle Heroes S1 Beginners Guide

-Private Server Guide-
I have been playing the Idle Heroes Private Server for about a year. Players who just started, often have many questions about the game, many of which should be answered in this guide for beginners in the PS. Many thanks for Meh321’s work to keep this server running.
This guide is made for S1 on the private server. Some things are different on the seasonal or official servers. A general tip would be to always keep an end-game team in mind. Try to make a good plan that you can build up and improve upon in the future. I’ll talk about 10 staenabled heroes, mainly. There is no point in talking about 5 or 6 star heroes. You are quickly over that point. Most heroes that are top tier as 10staenabled are also good as 5 star compared to other 5 star heroes.
PvP (Player vs Player, The three arena’s and guildwar) is all about CC (Crowd Control is: freeze, stun, petrify and silence) and high burst damage. Support heroes who buff your team can help with high burst damage (increase teams attack or other attribute). This also applies in the tower.
Faith blade: considered to be the best hero in the game by most people. It is easy to see why. He is the fastest CC hero in the game with very high damage on two units. Speed stone fb seems less viable now. Versus full E3 teams he will do very little damage.
-Speed Stone with energy artifact / Crit stone with energy artifact or crit/att artifact.
Michelle: Second fastest CC hero in the game (Mihms base speed is faster but he is not considered a cc unit). Faster than Dark arthindol by 0.8 speed.
-Speed stone with a speed or energy artifact.
Asmodel: Durable tanky unit with aoe damage. 3rd best light hero. High AoE dmg. He is slow and will get CCed a lot in top arena battles. Fast CC heroes attack before him. However, his skill and high damage makes up for his low speed.
-Crit Stone with Crit/att artifact / He can be used in first slot with a damage reduce artifact.
Belrain: The new Light priest healebuffer. Her active ability gives Attack and speed buffs for backline units but belrains speed is very low. There is a good chance she is cc-ed before being able to use her active in pvp fights. Heals on basic attack and heals for a great amount when she dies. Making her a consistent healer, even when cced for 1 or 2 rounds and then killed she will heal your team a lot for 4 rounds. She is an amazing support/healer unit for in a light and dark team. Her skillset also looks good for pve.
-Attack stone and attack arti like antlers
Dark arthindol: Third fastest cc hero in the game. Good counter vs Faithblade. With the recent release of mage gear DA is an ever better cc unit, also capable of doing very high dmg. With mage gear she is now faster than michelle(meaning enemy michelle can’t cc da round 1 before she uses skill).
-Speed stone with energy or speed artifact
Das moge: High AoE damage dealer. Can use active ability round 1 when 4 heroes have an energy artifact in your team. Considered third best dark hero.
-Attack stone with attack or vs class dmg artifact
Amuvor: Good hero in PvP and PvE, will talk more about him in the PvE section.
Mihm: Newest dark hero with a great combination of skills. Great dmg dealer and thanks to him being cc immune also a very consistent dmg dealer. Steals energy from lowest hp enemy unit on basic attack, this seems like a strong combination with the Augustus Ball artifact on him. Making him faster than faithblade(without speed stone). His active skill targets one random unit and has strong debuffs and can petrify front line units. The high dmg comes from his active and last passive. When any hero dies all enemy units take dmg, this can cause a chain reaction effect. This is also the reason some players are running him in a cheese/suicide line up. For example a mihm and 5 lvl 100 destroyers/michelle’s/emily’s. I do not think this strategy is viable in endgame pvp, there are counters and (some) full e3 teams can easily beat these cheese line ups. In my own experience he shines the most in a full light and dark team, good vs evil aura.
-Attack stone and a damage reduction arti ideally magic sword. Attack stone and Augustus ball.
For max attack put the mage gear weapon on him and the other 3 pieces of normal gear.
Demon hunter: High CC chance, silence is not a hard CC (meaning a hero who is silenced can still do basic attack). DH is the best forest hero for pvp arena fights. She can CC heroes with her basic attack that targets 3 units. This makes a speed artifact a great choice on her. Many high level player prefer to use speed artifacts over energy.
-Speed stone with speed or energy artifact.
Vesa: Great hero to invest in early on as she can reach nightmare in the aspen dungeon. She will help you progress in basicly anything. Very high dmg on 4 targets, 6 round heals and a 100% silence when she get under 50% health (Granted the enemy isn’t CC immune or is using an item that grants CC immunity).
-Crit stone with a crit artifact for damage. Att stone with att artifact for healing, this can be usefull in PvE. In PvP it’s best to run a crit vesa.
Emily: Support/buffer hero. Gives all heroes 20% attack 20 speed and debuffs the enemy team for 20% precision on active skill. One of the better fortress heroes, usefull in both PvE and PvP. Emily doesn’t need the best gear as she increases your teams attack when she comes below 50% health. Don’t upgrade her further than c5 stone, she doesn’t need the 3% extra health.
-Speed stone with energy or speed artifact
Iceblink: He does decent damage as a tank/first spot hero. He has CC but many CC heroes are faster than him. He is very good in the tower where speeds doesn’t matter.
-Speed/hp or att stone with dmg reduction artifact for tank/first spot. Or backline with energy or speed artifact.
Valentino: Val is the newest fortress hero in idle heroes. He has very high speed and stuns with his active. He has a hard time fighting stun immune heroes like faith blade and michelle which are in the meta now(Meta=best and most used heroes). He gives each ally’s skill a 25% to stun a hero with extra damage vs 1 random hero. Note; Mage tech is not the best tree to start with.
-Speed stone with energy or speed artifact
Kamath: The best PvP shadow hero. Good to complete the rainbow aura. He adds cc to your team. He does high dmg vs pertified units, good combo with Dark arthindol.
-Speed stone with speed artifact
Jahra: Newest shadow mage. Chance to freeze and petrify with active skill and steals attack. She is slower than most top cc heroes and has no kind of cc immunity, making her an inconsistent hero. She is capable of doing high dmg crits.
-Speed stone and energy arti
Kroos: Weaken is 50% more damage to the weakened hero. 75% stun chance vs all units for 2 rounds when below 50% health. Do i need to say more? Great hero for both PvP and PvE.
-Speed stone with energy artifact at 10staenabled.
King Barton: Tanky and high dmg+cc on basic attack. He and kroos are the best abyss heroes. His cc immune% makes him perform well consistently. Putting the cc immune passive on him when enabled makes him even better.
-Attacks stone and Magic Sword/dmg reduc arti
Queen, barea, karim and skerei are all decent abyss heroes, but in my opinion less strong and usefull than the above heroes. I would not recommend to make them. Teams with enabled skerei do surprisingly well in arena lately.
Pve (guildbosses, marauders, broken space bosses and celestial island bosses)
Heartwatcher: Mandatory for marauders, broken space and to a lesser extent guildbosses. She increases your whole teams damage gradually up to 300%. Not the best hero for PvP as she only targets 2 units. This doesnt matter in marauders but does in arena.
-Dmg reduc artifact is best against high dmg bosses. Crit stone/arti for pvp and aspen
Sigmund: One of the best PvE boss dmg dealers in the game. He’s good as a main dmg dealer against marauders, broken space bosses and guildbosses. Not a great hero for PvP.
-Attack stone with a class dmg artifact
Barea: deals great dmg in pve. Better than sig is some cases, vs forest bosses for example.
-Crit stone and crit or vs class dmg arti
Aiden: One of the best dmg dealers vs kamath marauders. Aiden hearwatcher 3× 5star michelle lvl 50 kroos can do a billion+ dmg vs kamath marauders and also does well vs kamath guild/pray bosses. Aiden and flamestrike together in a suicide/cheese team can clear tower. They are both average for pvp.
-Attack or crit stone/arti vs kamath marauder use aidens fury arti
Amuvor: Close to sigmund in boss dmg. Can use active ability round 1 when 2 heroes in your team have an energy artifact. Great PvE and PvP hero. He is silence immune, a dh or vesa can’t stop him. I have seen him one shot a vesa round 1 multiple times.
-Crit stone with crit/att artifact
Walter and bb can do nice boss dmg. In most cases they don’t come close to sigmund. I would not recommend them for PvP. Usefull heroes but there are better choices.
Groo is very good for aspen. He can help clearing nighmare / hell aspen. Because of his low dmg he can not beat certain stages. He can also be used for certain guidbosses thanks to his high hp, dmg reduction and crit reduction.
Emily and rosa give your whole team a 20% attack boost. Rosa’s attack reduces enemies armor by 20% for 3 rounds. Emily gives your team more attack when she is under 50% health. Kroos is also a good buffer in PvE he reduces enemies armor and weakens them(50% more damage on weakened target). These are all good buffs and will help your dps heroes do more damage in PvE bosses.
In boss fights healing can be important. For this i would use vesa and a deer pet. Vesa can do a 200mil damage to a kamath marauder in 1 fight with a good team around her. She is a very good PvE hero.
You can search for a specific hero in the normal casino. Most heroes are available in the super casino except dark and light. Top tier heroes can be a reward for completing events. Keep good heroes and don’t use them as fodder! (fodder=heroes used to upgrade a hero in the creation circle or awakening). When you play for a couple weeks or months you start pulling good heroes from summons, orbs and replacements in the prophet tree. Luck is a big factor is this.
As said earlier PvP is mostly about CC and burst damage. You will see this in the team examples.
Dark Arthindol Faithblade Kroos Valentino Kamath Demon hunter
Emily Vesa Kroos Michelle Kamath Amuvor
Asmo Demon hunter Michelle Emily valentino Demon hunter
Sigmund Vesa Heartwatcher rosa emily sigmund
Sigmund Bloodblade Vesa Heartwatcher Amuvor Kroos
Combinations like this will do great in marauders and other boss fights. Try to test different set ups with artifacts, heroes and positioning to get max damage.
Some heroes get an advantage from being hit. Like Kroos who stuns when under 50% health. Other examples are Emily, Dark Arthindol or Iceblink. These heroes are good for first spot. Second spot is best for your top dmg dealer. Heroes that hit the back line can’t damage or cc your second spot hero.
A new way to upgrade 10 star heroes. On the private server for every enable level (E1,E2,E3) you can choose one passive out of list of different passives. Always try to prioritize E3 l/d before regular faction because it takes a lot of resources to do so, notable E3 heroes in the regular factions are vesa sigmund skerei heartwatcher demon hunter kamath val jahra barton. After faction type in terms of hero types prioritize dmg dealers and/or cc units than supports for e3. Do not immediately e3 support heroes like emily kroos, you wont get much out of it. Getting 7 faithblade copies isn’t easy so i recommend relativly newer players to focus on making an E3 hero that is good for aspen and boss damage. This will help you progressing faster. This applies for everyone that can’t compete in top pvp.
The Campaign stops gathering exp and resources after 8hours. It is ideal to log in every 8 hours and claim your campaign, mines and guildmill. You can attack a guildboss every 16h. Celestial island mines stop gathering gems, gold and dust after 6hours. Guild mill is done every 8 hours.
The tower in celestial island is maxed at level 20 and the mines and other buildings at level 40. From the islands that you can attack 20 times you have a chance to get gems and orange artifact shards. Killing celestial bosses has a chance to give skin shards. The higher bosses have a higher chance to give skin shards. The last boss gives a guaranteed skin shard. I don’t recommend anyone to spend gems on the purple daffodils used to attack islands and bosses. The attack(Tyrant) towers are good to invest in early to boost your attack in the celestial islands. The Vitality and Harvest relic are also good to invest in, same for the gold, dust and gem mines.
In the marketplace i suggest to buy chips, arena tickets, dust and 4star heroes for gold. You can buy scrolls for 150 gems. Don’t spend gems refreshing the marketplace. Casino shop is good for completing gear sets. You can buy a missing piece to complete the set. Or buy fodder heroes. The brave trail shop doesn’t have much for good value, i suggest to buy monster materials or dust.
The Aspen dungeon is very important. This is your main source of resources. With heroes like Vesa, Groo and Faithblade with max tech you can reach nightmare. Scrolls for 1250 gems and every casino chip, arena ticket and 4star hero for gold is a good deal. Aspen is the place where you should spend most of your gems. This way you prepare for a summon event.
Events usually come once a month. Best is to save untill you have enough of a resource to finish an event. You can see all the different events on the event calendar on reddit. Summon event is the hardest event to complete early on. Try to progress in aspen to gather more scrolls. If you just started like a week it is okay to use scrolls to get a full 5 star team asap. After that never use any scrolls outside of a summon event (summon event has double the odds). Finishing fusion events is very important for dust and monster upgrade materials. Buying the max amount of event raid 4/3 star shards every day will help you complete fusion events. I think this is a crucial part in progressing fast on the private server. On the official server this would be vip lvl locked. You can save heroes as shards for a miracle event (miracle event= summon 3 5star heroes from the 4 normal factions, and 2 from light and dark). In special events with a special resource you collect in campaign, the campagin cap is 24hours instead of 8hours.
Arena fights, toc, fta and guildwar are the PvP side of the game. This is a lot fun but doesn’t give much resources. I recommend new players on the private server to make a PvE team first. Try to gather gems by killing marauders and compete for the top dmg dealer in guildbosses. This way you will progress much faster. After guildboss 60 your guild unlocks the pray of fire. Here your guild summons a guildboss after praying 360 times. Everyone in the guild can pray one time for free, once for 40 gems and for 80 gems every day. The best thing is to beat all guildbosses 1-60 with a decent PvE team. As a beginner, try to join a guild that is on a low guildboss. Try to complete your mill quest every 8 hours. With a max level mill you can get between 1000 and 1500 guildcoins per day. It is not worth it to spend gems on upgrading guild mill quests. IMPORTANT TIP: The guild shop is a trap. You need all your guild coild for guild tech. Guild tech doesn’t only work in guild it applies everywhere.
The dragon pet is the best choice all round in the current meta. The crit% with crit dmg plus the 60% holy dmg after pet attack is a good comination with burst heroes. Dragon is also very good for marauders and guildbosses. Wolf works well with heroes who have extra dmg vs bleed like Bloodblade. This is strong for marauders and guildbosses. This works the same for the Snake pet with poisen heroes. Deer is useful for brave trails, high lvl guildbosses and lvl 500 broken space bosses. I do not have much to say about fox, frost and golem. All three are very situational, but dragon does their job better generally.
Thanks to Omar aka SpicyBaghdaddy, Sleepy, Aetherflux and Thal for helping me write this guild. And everyone else who gave me feedback.

[USA] [H] Godzilla sized list! (All systems) Fire Emblems, Zeldas, SNES RPGs, NES carts, Nintendo Titles, Tales games, RPG's, something for everyone! || [W] Wi-Fi Vita console, Skyrim Legendary, Fallout 3 GotY, Fallout NV Ultimate, Forza Horizon (360) .hack GU 3 (PS2) List inside, offers

Big update to NES carts section. Looking for a PS Vita and .hack//G.U. Vol 3 mostly.
Everything on this list is potentially up for trade. If I own it, and there is absolutely no way I'm trading it, it isn't listed here. Pretty straight forward on availability. The more asterisks, the harder it is for me to let go of that game. I'm always willing to trade, so here is a guide to what the asterisks mean to me:
1= No hesitation. This game is absolutely up for trade. 2= I like it, but I'm most probably done with it. Still absolutely up for trade. 3= I'm just as willing to keep it as I am willing to trade it. 4= Most likely still being played in my house or just a game that I LOVE owning. Will likely take some specific wants or rare items/games. 5= Probably in my backlog and not necessarily looking to trade, but if you have something specifically on my MED/HIGH [W] list, we can chat.
NOTE: The number of asterisks I assign to a game by no means denotes the monetary value that I place on a game. Only my willingness to trade said game. I don't expect to rip anyone off just because I have 5 asterisks next to a game, nor do I plan on just giving away any 1 asterisk games. I try to be fair and expect the same.
