Cash with Flash Best Bets has 2020-2021 season-long totals of 66-53-1 for NFL football, 48-21 in NCAAF, 40-29 for NCAAB, 15-9 in NHL, 53-31-1 in the NBA, and 85-45 for tennis this season.

Tuesday was a terrific bounce-back day. We went 3-0 on the day and improved our Win Daily Sports record to 4-4.
Yup, just like that we erased a tough Monday night.
I employ a fixed-unit system of bankroll management. I explain this system and its nuances (along with other systems) in my books but the gist of it goes like this; I play one unit on every contest I have an edge in. No more and no less. I’m able to do this because I have a career winning percentage of 56.6 percent and winning at a 62 percent clip this season.

Normally I would be all over the home underdog and especially so against an Indiana Pacers side on the wrong end of a four-game losing streak. Malcolm Brogdon and Domatas Sabonis have struggled mightily during this losing streak but they play a Pistons team allowing an average of 118 points per game over their past five contests. Detroit is coming off of a huge home victory over a Kevin Durant-less Brooklyn Nets side that ended a four-game losing streak of their own. The Pacers are the better offense and will take this one by four points or more. Take the Indiana Pacers with confidence tonight.

Remember when the 76ers couldn’t win on the road? Those days seem to be over as Philadelphia is 7-5 and enters this matchup riding a two-game winning streak. They also have a red-hot Joel Embiid who’s averaging 32.3 points alongside 10.5 rebounds per game and the Trail Blazers don’t have anyone either living or dead who can stop him. Damian Lillard has been carrying the injury-plagued Trail Blazers but missed the Trail Blazers away victory over Philly one week ago. Ben Simmons also missed that contest and is raring to go but its looks as though Seth Curry will miss this tilt with an ankle injury. Lay the Points and take Philadelphia to cover the spread tonight.

There are several NCAAB games tonight and Cash with Flash likes one contest very much. You must stay out ahead of injuries plus coronavirus concerns and the best website I know for this would be Newsday.
Georgia Southern vs Georgia State (138.5 Total)
A majority of these two sides’ contests have ended under the total and I suspect that this one won’t be that much different when they meet tonight. Three of their last five meetings have ended under the total and these are two fairly good defenses. Georgia State has one of the best turnover percentages in the college game but Southern is twelfth in the nation at causing turnovers. Neither side shoots the ball well from long range and both squads have pedestrian offensive rebound percentages. Take the UNDER in this one!

I can see grabbing Carolina at -121 tonight but I don’t think that would be the best bet for this contest. Carolina has a terrific offense and scores an average of 3.14 goals per game and the Stars average 3.33 goals scored per game but has lit the lamp just five times over their last three matchups. James Reimer will likely tend to the twine and he’s allowed 16 goals over his past four starts and Anton Khudobin has allowed 11 goals over the past three starts including seven goals over two consecutive losses to Carolina during that same three-game span. Take the OVER in this game!!

Tanner Mangum (QB): The “kid” wonder. Returned from an LDS mission 3 months before the season started, and has set every freshman passing record at BYU. 3,062 yards, 12 TDs, 7 INTs.
Bronson Kaufusi (DE): All over the field as a DE. 55 Total Tackles, 17 TFL, 11 sacks, 1 INT, 4 blocked kicks. This is likely the most athletic family in America. His dad and all 7 of his siblings played a D1 sport, all of Bronson’s siblings have played at BYU (between basketball and football. Bronson played both), and I know two of his dad’s brothers are still batting 1.000 with D1 athlete children.
Algernon Brown/Francis Bernard (RB): Our 3rd and 4th string backs (due to injury), 2 Polynesian 235-pounders with good hands and speed. Combined for 973 yards, 5.9 ypc, 17 TDs. Also added 26 catches for 199 yards and 4 scores.
Biggest Plays this Season: Game Winning Hail Mary in the season opener versus Nebraska,4th down Hail Mary with ~45 seconds left, followed immediately by a pick-6 against Boise State.
Season Summary: This team has taken years off many peoples’ life. Our starting running back set to break the school rushing record left for personal reasons right before fall camp started. Our heisman candidate quarterback suffered his 3rd season ending injury in 4 seasons during the first half of game 1. The season included: Hail Mary as time expired against Nebraska 4th down Hail Mary against Boise, followed immediately by a pick-6 with 40 seconds left. 1 point loss to UCLA at the Rose Bowl (gave lead up with ~3 to go) 31-0 shutout at the Big House. Tanner Mangum getting injured against ECU, and trotting out onto the field to lead a game winning drive. SJSU going for 2 to win it with < a minute left and not getting it. Our coach leaving after 11 seasons for Virginia. The team has rallied behind Mangum - the freshman who is going to be the return of the great BYU QB and so have the fans. He is a “field general” in every sense of the word - you could feel it against ECU when he came back hurt. As soon as he stepped on the field, we knew we would win.
Why we are going to win: Our offense is much better than Utah’s with them losing Booker and Covey. If we can contain their pass rush, we should be able to score. Containing Wilson on the read option will test us. This is an emotional game - the Utes got invited to the PAC-12, we got left out. They feel above BYU and do not want to be at the game. They don’t want to renew the series as a non-conference game (2014/2015 weren’t played. Scheduled through 2020 I believe). It’s our head coach’s last game, going for his 100th victory. Their coach is on the short list of candidates interviewing to be his replacement. BYU fans bought all the tickets before Utah was announced.

It’s going to be an emotional game that will be complete crap shoot and likely will have a fight break out between the teams. (We aim to entertain the masses).

2015 Season Record: 9-3 (6-3 Pac-12 South)
Key Players this Season:
Travis Wilson (QB): The 6’7 senior dual-threat quarterback is a major cog in the Utes offense. He started 11 games this season, going 8-3. He has completed 62.4% of his passes, and thrown for 2,024 yards. In addition, he has thrown for 13 touchdowns. However, turnovers are an issue as he’s thrown 10 interceptions on the season. The dual-threat QB has also shown his athletic ability in helping a potent rushing offense. He has ran for 466 yards (3.7 ypc) and 6 rushing touchdowns. With Devonte Booker’s injury, the Utes will be looking at Wilson to be carrying the load on offense.
Devontae Booker (RB): Devontae Booker is Utah’s workhorse running back. Unfortunately, Devontae will not be playing in this bowl game, as he was injured in Utah’s loss against Arizona and is recovering from a torn meniscus. However, Devontae carried the Utah offense on his back, leading the nation in carries per game midway through the season. He had 1261 yards on 268 attempts with 11 tds on the year. Expect Running backs Bubba Poole and Joe Williams, as well as dual-threat Quarterback Travis Wilson, to lead the rushing attack against BYU. Joe Williams has rushed for 386 yards in two games in relief of Booker.
Tom Hackett (P): Tom Hackett is the AP First Team All-American Punter and winner of the Ray Guy award. An Australian punter, He punted 55 times for 2628 yards with an average of 47.8 yards per attempt.
Gionni Paul (LB): A critical playmaker and leader on the Ute defense. During the 2015 season Gionni recorded 109 total tackles (48 solo), 12.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery returned 54 yards for a touchdown.

Season Summary: Utah started off their season strong and promising. The Utes raced out to a 6-0 start, ruining Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan return, demolishing Oregon in Autzen Stadium, and defeating a then #24 California in those 6 games. The Utes rose to #3 in the rankings after their start. However, things became shaky after a blowout upset against USC, as they lost 42-24. They would beat Oregon State and Washington, but would lose two straight to Arizona and UCLA, as well as lose star running back Devontae Booker on the way. The Utes finished the regular season strong with a 20-14 win over Colorado to finish 9-3 on the season. The Utes finished the regular season ranked #20 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
Why we are going to win: The Utah pass rush must get to Tanner Mangum in order to prevent the BYU offense to drive down the field. In a battle of the trenches, Utah’s front seven should have a day against BYU’s suspect offensive line. The defense must continue at a high level, as they have only allowed 21.8 points a game. The Utes must also create turnovers, something the team is good at, considering they are #6 in turnover creation. On offense, Travis Wilson must step up, especially with the absence of Devontae Booker. If the Utes are going to put on points, they will have to throw the ball effectively, a struggle they’ve had through the season. Even though Booker is out with injury, the Utah running game is still very formidable, even with Joe Williams in at running back. Williams has rushed for 386 yards, and in the two games he’s replaced Booker in the lineup, he’s rushed for 121 and 187 yards.
Why you should watch: It’s the return of the Holy War. One of the storied rivalries in college football, the Holy War returns after two seasons. Utah leads the series 57-34-4 and has won 4 straight over BYU. In Bronco Mendenhall’s last game as BYU head coach, can he pull out the victory? Or will Utah overcome the loss of Booker and win their 5th straight over BYU and 2nd straight victory in the Las Vegas Bowl? By the way, did we mention that the Holy War is going to be played in Sin City?
